I'm not sure about that anymore. Ever since the banshee incident there was a certain doubt about that and even since Valravn we've had reason to be skeptical. Monsters are just under much more influence from their basic desires and instincts most of the time. Add to that the fact that the most compatible hosts for infection seem to have a strange kind of ambition to them and you have a weird kind of situation where monsterfication may be liable to bring out and amplify the monster that was already there more than anything.Yeah the game has made it very clear that turning into a monster is not a good thing.
It took me 5 hours I think. Can someone give me an estimated amount of gameplay for this update?
The Eye is such a fraud. Hes competing with Cole and JakeSo, did anyone not help Liz with stealing Deryl's serum last update? I was looking at the scripts, and if you didn't then in this update there's a conversation you can have with her where two of the options imply that the MC remembers the Eye Dead Ends. He describes memories of his that he doesn't know where he got them from, but that sound a lot like the Eye's experiences. Being a powerful monster that gets killed before it can actually do anything, over and over. I guess that since the Eye is implied to remember the Dead Ends, and he's fusing with the Eye, he's getting visions of them. Neat.
Yeaaah, in the beginning i was like "awesome, when mc reaches level 5 there is still the eye upgrade to reach even further highs!" ... now im more like "i hope the eye doesnt turn me into a dumb weak idiot again who gets one shotted by bernhard"The Eye is such a fraud. Hes competing with Cole and Jake
Yeah I wasn't sure if we were meant to take that as an actual plot revelation, that MC might actually be canonically remembering his Bad Ends, or if its just more meta-dialogue that MC and Ella often get up to, like the ******* joke. So, did anyone not help Liz with stealing Deryl's serum last update? Yes bro where were youWAIT THE GAME UPDATED??
i wasnt on this website sigh time to play it rqYes bro where were you
Nope.Hey guys, haven´t been following up with the discussion to avoid spoilers since it's been a while I've played, but I have a nagging question in my mind that I can't avoid spoiling myself with: Has the situation on Amber and Liz caused by Tanos been solved yet?
Hmm i chose to say that i did it for Aos and to not let him suffer further, but Aos was mysterios if he was pleased about it and tbh i dont even really know why i took that choice, i dont even like aos this muchI want to say I feel bad for Danu, and I chose to spare her for that reason, but I feel like letting my Mc say that was real reason he asked Alice to spare her would be a massive mistake. What happened to Danu was tragic, but even if Michael is alive, it doesn't justify her trying to murder Alice and anyone who tries to protect her in the first place, when Alice has done nothing to her. Ironically Danu trying to kill Alice for her potential to support Aos's plans, is a lot like the sky people, who sent her human children to their graves, because they wanted to crush her family for their political motives. It's unreasonable and unfair from Alice and the Mc's perspective just like what happened to Danu in the past, which is why I felt like my Mc needed a motive for his actions beyond the sympathy he may have felt for Danu. It's why I chose the real reason he chose to spare her to be because she is useful.
You can do that, but it does cost you an Alice point if you say anything other than "I told you already, it's because she's useful."Speaking of Alice, I have to gush about a minor thing, which is the level of variation they give you on deciding how to convince her to save Danu.
I'm glad WW is doubling down on Alice loving to kill people and not doing the more obvious and cliche thing of MC softening her and revealing what an innocent princess she really is. So I really like that if you try to appeal to her by saying that you think Danu was a good person and can be redeemed, she doesn't care and smashes her fucking head in.
BUT.
I also fucking love that if you speak her language and point out how useful Danu is, that later she asks you why you really asked her to spare her and you can admit that it was because you just thought it was wrong and said what she needed to hear.
There's maybe a handful of games on this site that offer such granular level of roleplaying (and rly im just saying that to cover my ass, i cant think of any) that connects me to these characters and the MC so so much more than usual, even if it doesn't change things in the long run, and I wish more games, even AAA games, adopted this approach.
