You can do that, but it does cost you an Alice point if you say anything other than "I told you already, it's because she's useful."
Yeah, like I said I'm glad WW is sticking to Alice liking murder, and tbh players are prob overflowing with points for any LIs at this point in the game so one point is def worth the chance to have this disagreement with her but be able to discuss it properly.

I don't even think the point system has been used for scenes in like aaaages. It just checks if you ARE dating or not.

but i couldnt tell alice "Well there will be more content if we keep her alive" so what am i gonna do
I mean you can tell her its because you thought she was hot. WW should have had her actually bite your dick off if you pick that tho

I want to say I feel bad for Danu, and I chose to spare her for that reason, but I feel like letting my Mc say that was real reason he asked Alice to spare her would be a massive mistake.
Good man I applaud you for your heart of gold.
Myself I couldn't encourage Alice quick enough to send this lady to the shadow realm.
She won't be joining the harem and I feel like we did humanity a favor.

I believe there was an Amber/Liz check not to long ago, but I could be mistaken on that front. And as we get closer to the end, I also suspect that those points will start mattering a lot more.

The real question here, is are we going to have to wait until the next game before we figure out whether Alice or Michael should've gone into the power boost chamber last update.

Hey guys, haven´t been following up with the discussion to avoid spoilers since it's been a while I've played, but I have a nagging question in my mind that I can't avoid spoiling myself with: Has the situation on Amber and Liz caused by Tanos been solved yet?
How far back are you? I mean their alive, and well, uh, physically. Their also free and back in the MC's group.

I assume it'll pay off in the next 2-3 updates myself, even more so since meta-wise I can all but tell you decisions won't carry between games. I also don't know what he'll do for the next game, if you heard something (I don't watch the live streams or anything) let me know.

If I had to guess, if we boosted Micheal he'll save himself, and if we boosted Alice, she'll save him. Or at least the boosted one will win finishing off the big bad sky monster.

No clue what will happen if you didn't boost them at all.

I think the last build I played was 0.990, started from the beginning this time and haven't caught up yet
I know they're 'alive' but, yeah, that situation got my mind fucked up on my first playthrough
Also, Tanos' death has to be gruesome, with as much suffering as WW can come up with :)

Firstly, you'd be surprised how easy it is to carry saves across games. You can easily do it and in many ways, a very simple one being literally making it so the saves are connected to the same directory, and that loading a first game save from the second game would just start the game (with the variables from the save). Preferably from a specific end screen, so variables won't be missing.

This method isn't particularly efficient, because there would inevitably be a lot of pointless variables, but in reality, it would just be the same as the first game in that regard. You can also just scan the save file for only the relevant variables, which removes that problem, but that could takemuch more effort, depending on the amount of variables you want to carry over.

Secondly, that is assuming the games will be separate. WW said in one of his streams that he isn't sure if he's going to make it a separate game, so he could just make it in the same game, in the end.

When I started the update, I thought, "Just when I believed we were moving away from the monster world, this happens..." However, seeing AOS again was pleasing, and his personality was great. Learning that he was once human and that world have humans in the past was also very interesting. It's like a cycle where each world undergoes the same transformation, eventually leading to the extinction of humanity. What else can I say?

Regarding Alice, I really enjoyed her fight and her development as a monster. It's good to have variety in how characters can strengthen themselves, not just through levels of evolution. In such a chaotic universe, you can't expect perfection or kindness. A funny detail was during a conversation with another monster where we asked about our future, and she replied something like, "You are different, you will be..." only to glitch out and forget, similar to what happens in "Solo Leveling," as if something prevents her from revealing the truth. Haha.

As for Michael, I have two thoughts... Either that sky is another dimension where creatures are so powerful that everyone who goes there dies, or it might be portals to other worlds or dimensions, which is why no one returns. If it's the latter, Michael might be training right now. It would be exciting to think he encountered another spawn of the 2nd Apostle, one who would guide him and teach him to control and evolve his powers in the best way possible. These are just thoughts, though...

Concerning Ella, I've been thinking, "How does she seem to know everything all the time?" While it's understandable for monsters with centuries of life to be knowledgeable, Ella is the same age as the protagonist. How has she evolved so much in such a short time? She doesn't just have vast knowledge; she also possesses remarkable power and practical skills... Well, perhaps there's a hint somewhere about how she became this way. I can't forget the words of the Apostle of Truth, "Do not believe in the lies of the Third Chosen" but even so, I hope Ella has good intentions beyond her hunger for power.

From what I've heard, the next game WW wants to work on is some sort of vampire game. But yeah, as OnlineRando mentioned, it is trivially easy to port variables across games, assuming it will be in a separate executable.

So, I've been trying to assemble some theory about Ella's ritual, not sure if something similar to my ideas was already discussed here at some point, but fell free to point out.

Honestly, reading this, I feel like you've cracked the case wide open. Surprised this post didn't get more attention. If it turns out to be true in a year just remember who was your first Apostle.

Another update, another reaction post.

1) HOLY SHIT MALIK JUST CREATED A FUCKING SUN. Aint no way any of the chosen even touches the big three.
2) Alice was the obvious MVP this update but with us probably not seeing her or Micheal for some time in the future. Next time we see her and Micheal, they probably will be S class/rank 5.
3) Love that every character has a different evolution method. With Alice, now pretty much everyone in the group is evolving in a different way
4) Wtf was that Alice sex scene tho. Blood and Cannibalism straight up turned me off lol. First time I gotta give a sex scene a no.
5) Is this the first time we got a hentai like bad ending? Shit caught me off guard lol.
6) The Alice fight was great but I was distracted by the cheeks for most of it. Seeing Daoine, Aos and their family in the flashback was def the best part of the fight. No way I kill Daoine after that.

On the 'Malik created a star' thing, dunno how to feel about that. Stars and rocky planets (which is what was depicted) are composed of almost entirely different elements and even then you'd need an extremely large planet to have enough mass to turn into a star. We can either read into it and infer that Malik may have some matter creation powers oooooor use the rule of cool and accept it.

I am only nitpicking because, for the most part, WW's physics make sense. The only other example I can think of of something he was quite off on was the mass numbers on big monster cards.

To be fair, he doesn't just generate heat, he spews out actual flames, meaning his fire is actually fueled and oxidized.

While we don't actually know what his flames' oxidizer or fuel is, I think it's pretty safe to assume it's just his monster power... but if his monster power has the properties necessary to sustain flames, that can theoretically substitute for the necessary materials... mainly being hydrogen.

Let's be harsh and assume his monster power has the properties of oxygen. The fuel isn't really relevant.
Assuming he can generate enough heat (though it'd take much more than what it would with hydrogen, so more than a regular star could output) and apply enough pressure to direct the oxidizer (being mp) towards the core, nuclear fusion should be possible.

Given that we see Berny compress his wind to supposedly Planck scale, which is a FAR more impressive feat, being impossible according to physics, I don't see why Malik wouldn't be able to create enough pressure on his power to do this. And all this, is assuming his power has the properties of oxygen, which is comparatively bad for this because of its weight. Realistically, his power should be better for this than even hydrogen.

Also, what's mass numbers on big monster cards?

I don't think starting the fusion reaction is enough to create a star. You need enough mass for it to self-sustain. Either way, I'm not too bothered given that stuff like Bernhard's Planck pressure exists like you mentioned.
Re: mass number on big monster cards. I don't have them on hand but examples like Deryl's monster form being ~40 meters tall but only weighing ~5 tons. That's a ridiculously low number, off by several orders of magnitude. If we suppose he is the density of a human (~water) and shaped like cylinder 40 meters tall with a radius of 5m, then we'd expect him to weigh about 3000 tons.

My only issue with this is I remember the 7th's final goal is to snuff out all life and everything so while he is good for us now his end goal might be even worse.

Stars are mostly made of hydrogen, which, after nuclear fusion, is turned into helium, which will eventually turn into some other stuff. They also tend to have some other stuff, but they don't strictly require anything other than that. Hydrogen is specifically the best-known material for a star, because it has super low mass and a high energy output. If we substitute that with Malik's monster power, there really shouldn't be anything missing... except for proper hydrogen, but that doesn't really matter.

As for the Deryl thing, I rechecked and yeah this is a horrible ratio lol. He's 4245 cm tall, so 42 meters, and weighs 5009 kg, so 5 tons... if we calculate it like you did, with a radius of 5 meters, his density is slightly higher than that of literally air lmao. Air being 1.225 kg/m³ and Deryl Rebis form being 1.52 kg/m³. Bro is a thousand times less dense than a normal human, let alone a superhuman.

Agreed with the other comments, now I cant possibly imagine the plan being anything else, great write-up!

But I have to say... I don't know if I have it in me to put up with a whole nother game of Ella's bullshit... Personally, I don't care if every other subplot and character arc gets booted off to SH2, but I really hope there's some kind of satisfying conclusion to Ella's story in SH1.
