Welcome to the seventh content update for Supermodel: Defenders of Desire, focused on Seraphim. We finally get to have a look inside her head, and what we'll find there is... disturbing. On the other hand, someone's inhibitions are about to get loosened significantly, possibly along with their clothes. Regardless, with Seraphim around, things are bound to get scorching hot.
Despite the amount of time it took me to complete this update, it's on the shorter side. I've discussed this at length before, but it was a particularly challenging summer for me, which cost me a significant amount of time. Among other things, I had to suffer through a heatwave, the death of a friend of mine, and what I suspect may have been the flu or another bout with COVID. Still, we're here at last, and we're heading into a really exciting stretch of story updates in the near future.
One notable aspect of this update is the extensive range of quality-of-life features, many of which were requested by players. These additions and changes should make the game experience smoother and less frustrating, especially when it comes to the deck builder. More QoL features are coming soon.
Enjoy!
Changelog:
- Added: New story chapter for Seraphim.
- Added: New card game scenario for Seraphim.
- Added: Two new challenge cards for use in the new scenario.
- Added: Card upgrade system for model cards. Upgrade opportunities happen after winning certain scenarios and are only offered once per scenario.
- Added: Temporary semi-hidden button on the booster pack purchase screen. This button allows you to swap your chosen card upgrade as many times as you want so that you can try out both options. This button will be removed in a future update.
- Added: A new filter category in the deckbuilder for damage types.
- Added: A popup infobox when selecting a scenario. This infobox provides helpful information about the scenario before you choose your deck and difficulty.
- Added: Pressing the H key during a card match toggles the interface on and off. When hidden, only the background art is visible.
- Added: Support for Streamer Mode in card scenarios and photo viewer.
- Changed: The deck overview in the deckbuilder is now clickable. Clicking any card in your deck scrolls the deckbuilder to that card.
- Changed: Redesigned layout for Heat and Usable Heat values next to the Heat bar. Additionally, Usable Heat is now visible above 50.
- Fixed: Highlight sometimes not shown when dragging a card over a challenge card in the first turn's challenge phase.
- Fixed: Double-clicking or double-tapping a card in the deckbuilder failed to bring up the detailed card view. After fix, opens on single-click.
