It's not that kind of game or story, so no. I'm trying to rise above the typical adult game by weaving a story where the sexual content is meaningful and sex scenes aren't there without also contributing to the plot. Breeding would just be silly in this game's context.

Unlike LLtP, it's closer to a harem story, though.
C'mon now. The superbabies would be so cute! But then I suppose that people would be asking for incest and lolicon next. Sigh. On second thought, just forget it :censored:

No. Why not? That's a slippery slope fallacy. The incest and lolicon gooners can just be told to get their degeneracy elsewhere. Superbabies and handholding FTW.

Personally, I'm not interested in the depiction of infants in adult games. Like I don't mind if it's like post-epilogue content, but I feel like it's a completely different vibe and pace for what most people are looking for and would detract if it's put into the main story.

Detract? Strongly disagree. Not innately. But all the good examples of games with pregnancy and children are designed to have them from the beginning. I concede that adding that feature might detract from the direction *this* game has been developing, as development time is a finite resource (unless you are Star Citizen).

Masters of Ranna, Love and Corruption, and Corrupted Kingdoms are the only games where the MC can have the opportunity to have meaningful, non-perverse, relationships with their children conceived in gameplay—I'm saying it's very rare and the developer(s) made those design choices from the start.

I haven't played the other two, but Masters of Raana is a bit different in that it's one of the few true sandboxes/life sims I've seen on this site. Your character's story can span in-game decades, so it makes sense to be able to have kids and interact with them.

You may as well lay this particular topic to rest, for it doesn't matter whether or not children are directly involved in sexual situations as long as they as much as exist in a porn game. If they do, the game is banned on every commercial platform. It's that simple.

Supermodel Update 7 - This Is My Show

This release is available to backers at the $5 level and above at either my or pages. You can find the download links in this and this . The previous release ( / ) is now free to download for everyone.

Welcome to the seventh content update for Supermodel: Defenders of Desire, focused on Seraphim. We finally get to have a look inside her head, and what we'll find there is... disturbing. On the other hand, someone's inhibitions are about to get loosened significantly, possibly along with their clothes. Regardless, with Seraphim around, things are bound to get scorching hot.

Despite the amount of time it took me to complete this update, it's on the shorter side. I've discussed this at length before, but it was a particularly challenging summer for me, which cost me a significant amount of time. Among other things, I had to suffer through a heatwave, the death of a friend of mine, and what I suspect may have been the flu or another bout with COVID. Still, we're here at last, and we're heading into a really exciting stretch of story updates in the near future.

One notable aspect of this update is the extensive range of quality-of-life features, many of which were requested by players. These additions and changes should make the game experience smoother and less frustrating, especially when it comes to the deck builder. More QoL features are coming soon.

Enjoy!

Changelog:
  • Added: New story chapter for Seraphim.
  • Added: New card game scenario for Seraphim.
  • Added: Two new challenge cards for use in the new scenario.
  • Added: Card upgrade system for model cards. Upgrade opportunities happen after winning certain scenarios and are only offered once per scenario.
  • Added: Temporary semi-hidden button on the booster pack purchase screen. This button allows you to swap your chosen card upgrade as many times as you want so that you can try out both options. This button will be removed in a future update.
  • Added: A new filter category in the deckbuilder for damage types.
  • Added: A popup infobox when selecting a scenario. This infobox provides helpful information about the scenario before you choose your deck and difficulty.
  • Added: Pressing the H key during a card match toggles the interface on and off. When hidden, only the background art is visible.
  • Added: Support for Streamer Mode in card scenarios and photo viewer.
  • Changed: The deck overview in the deckbuilder is now clickable. Clicking any card in your deck scrolls the deckbuilder to that card.
  • Changed: Redesigned layout for Heat and Usable Heat values next to the Heat bar. Additionally, Usable Heat is now visible above 50.
  • Fixed: Highlight sometimes not shown when dragging a card over a challenge card in the first turn's challenge phase.
  • Fixed: Double-clicking or double-tapping a card in the deckbuilder failed to bring up the detailed card view. After fix, opens on single-click.

I hate the fact that's not common sense.

I've been a gamer for years and regardless of the game, the higher the difficulty the better the equipment you'll need.

The fact some people need telling that the highest difficulty will need better quality cards makes me a sad bunny.

The thing is, the higher-rarity cards in this game aren't really designed to be better, just more situational and advanced. They often require very specific circumstances to shine, but if you can arrange those, they are good. The epic cards do mix things up a bit by breaking the boundaries of normal cards, but you're still only allowed two of them. My original comment wasn't necessarily about needing epic cards to win on Insane, but needing specific epic cards to win because they are situationally very strong for the exact circumstances these Insane decks are built for.

Ok, here is what I think is a significant problem for me and for others like me.

1) I'm not playing it for the card game. My personal take is I want to play it for the story and the card game interferes with my 'immersion' in the story. (You write great stuff.)

2) I haven't played it for several months due distractions and other reasons. So I come back to the latest version/update and discover I'm a couple behind. Ok, no problem.

3) But then when I start it I get taken to the 'starting line up' and damn I don't know where I am! Ok there are the little hearts showing me where I've been and I finally find the next step...which is Michael's story night mare or buried secrets...and it takes me to the next scene...damage control ...and whoa I find out Anna has mind control powers?! where did this come from?? Obviously I missed or forgot something BIG in the plot...

4) BUT where the hell was I last time I played? Now I'm lost in the plot. Last thing I remember was one simple photo shoot with the girls...or meeting Phoebe...?? or...??

So here I am, now the story is getting really weird and doesn't make sense at all.

So with no save games numbered progression, I am lost in the story progression. I've got no 'trail of bread crumbs' to find my way back in this labyrinth of choices to pick up where I left off. Because everything, every choice is available I've got no way to go back and pick up where I left off without STARTING OVER.

My suggestion: could you put some numbers in the little hearts to indicate NOT each individual's story but the plot progression? Maybe put indicators of stage sequences or levels or something to let us know what scenes comes before what? You could have them revealed after the player has left that stage?

Right now, I'm lost and I just want to go back several chapter to where I was. Starting over is no fun.

Is it possible to play this without the card game? I got up to that point twice and set it aside.
If you don't want to deal with the card game, Supermodel fully supports that. Just enable Pure VN Mode in the preferences. You'll never have to deal with the cards again.

I'm not trying to force you to play a card game with Supermodel, though it's obviously a big part of the intended experience. You are free to play this as a pure VN if that's what you prefer.

Obviously I missed or forgot something BIG in the plot...
No, that event does come out of nowhere (though there have been hints and clues earlier, too subtle for most people to notice, by design). Things are meant to be a little confusing at this stage, though we are rapidly approaching the Big Reveal that will cause everything to make sense. While this is a mystery story right now, most of the biggest mysteries are intended to be resolved by the midpoint of the story.

My suggestion: could you put some numbers in the little hearts to indicate NOT each individual's story but the plot progression? Maybe put indicators of stage sequences or levels or something to let us know what scenes comes before what? You could have them revealed after the player has left that stage?
But there is no intended order for most of these. Take Phoebe's chapter, for example. Chronologically, it happens before everything else (maybe? There are events in the plot that may or may not happen earlier, which is intentionally obscured), but you don't have to play it until you reach update 6. What number do I put alongside that one?

I imagine I could create a curated "events told in order" mode once you complete the full game, but there are reasons why I can't be too clear about what goes where. The order of events is mostly determined by the order within an individual character's menu or, simply, whether or not this particular chapter requires knowledge from another one. If a chapter is unlocked for you, I've given you all the information I feel you require.

Also I've decided to go back and start over completely as, as I said, the story no longer makes sense.
In starting over, I'm surprised that the game has elements --text-- that I would swear were not there before. One is Anna mentioning that the reporter "desires her" and that is a source of her leverage over her. I don't remember that at all.

Also I don't remember all 3 superheros fighting the assassin...I thought I remember it was just Blink grabbing him and getting him out.

No matter. as I go though this I see that the story progresses in stages.
1st stage Michael-Prologue
2nd stage Both Michael No Pity + Anns Emergency
3rd stage Anna (2), Vangard (1) and Phoebe (1) take your choice?

that's as far as I've gotten but that sounds like a possibility....a different stages system?

Let me keep playing and I'll lay out what I think makes sense?

Ok, hope that helps.

Unfortunately the card game requires someone who is smarter than me. I played through the first round of the photo shoot and I could not figure out what the hell I was supposed to be doing aside from placing cards with like stats (skill, confidence, etc) and lost big time. Not having played Magic or any of the other strategy card games in my life, it was hopeless.
