This game is similar but I dont like it as much as SP1

Anyone have been having a problem with some of the stats that doesn’t seem to behave correctly ? I am talking about willpower not restoring, fear not decreasing (but increasing even without any actions or temporary mods) and stuff like that? Character gain random burst of fear (that not the aura) and even feast of fear doesn’t work on them as they regain the same amount of fear directly after the 30 are removed.

On svscomics there is some sort of update for both superpowered 1 and 2, I don't know if it's real since on patreon there's no post to indicate that the update is real.

Am i the only one that thinks that NCP was kinda unjustified with the Engine change of this game? I mean most of the stuff on this game rn is stuff you could probably do in renpy.

It's a sequel.
It takes place one year after the events of the original. Billy has graduated from high school, been stuck in basic hero bootcamp for a year, starts with some basic powers which he presumably carried over from the original, and is starting college.
He does have to rebuild all of his relationships, since he's been gone a year and lost touch and life went on without him, but otherwise, everything is a continuation.

others have mentioned several good games that scratch the itch of absolute mental submission. Try Golden Mean next.
