Since this is the sequal, the continuation of the first game, the MC already have powers etc. But since you can't use the old values in this new game, you are given free points to choose what you focus at the start of this game.Can someone please explain to me the game machanics? particularly why every morning I can select powers or whatever that is? And why can I add so many points in the initial setup?

Depending on what you choose to have of powers, you can activate some of them every morning, which is IMO pretty dull and slowing down time, however it makes it possible to plan what bonuses to have active for the day.
For example, if you have Fly 3, you can in a morning click Fly1,2 and 3 and spend half your day points for that power activation meaning you can fly the longest and with lowest energy use to a location instead of spending money on travel.
To shorting the morning selection time, you are given the option to save specific power active comboes, the green circles that pop up, so for example selecting Fly1,2,3 and Strenth 1,2,3 as what you think is what you'll use most, save it as an option 1-4, next morning just click the combo number and you'll have those powers active without selecting them.
IMO it's annoying we can't just have all our powers active and ready, but the Dev tries to add some choice play value, adding stratetic nuances to the game.
Don't ask me what the best combo is, for it depends on what you'll do that day and we need a WT Guide to figure it all out.
