The game is a grind fest, no doubt. So much that it destroys it's own good content at times (e.g why are Allie's and Samantha's classroom scenes only triggered by critical study success, you may even miss it because the trigger chances are so small)

Do yourself a favor and use the mods. (@Baal7734 you should take a look on some of the features in these mods, they improve the gameplay a lot)

Is it just me or everyone? When I tutor tamara she only gain 1 favor/season. And if I don't tutor her everyday on schooldays then she loses 1 favor for each day I didn't tutor her.

Use the wiki, seriously.
If Tamara is cold to you, you used Freddy to spy on her and followed her too often. This will cut you off from any sexual content with her.
