and for breaking of old savegames with new versions, well that hapens, and when compared to cars.
well, there is is reason why new models for given year are called facelifts (minor new versions) and e.q polo gen 1, 2, ...etc (savegame breaker).

I am guessing that we need to wait until the mods get updated before we can use the game with them. Give it a little time, and I am sure they will come through for us.

Hmmm just my guess since he still has other females to do the game is probably 30% done. lol. I do wonder if he will ever add animations in the future. Since that is the standard now.

If the game is anything like the original Rags version, I wouldn't put it past 20%. A long time ago the Patrons voted to keep the focus on the school, but realistically there are multiple location with multiple characters each that aren't implemented at all, yet. Just from the areas that already exist, we have the hospital doctor, the initiative overseer, and the business bureau secretary and case worker. The actual heroes already introduced in the story and the villains yet to be introduced. Interactions with characters from the school outside of school. The story itself. Hell, the content for the mother isn't finished yet.

I don't see it as a bad thing that the game has a large vision. I enjoy the game for what it is.

Never played the Rags version but I agree about the potential for the game. Personally, I'm hoping the Institute and associated characters/plotlines end up at least as well developed as the school at some point. All sorts of cool possibilities open up at a place where everyone has superpowers, unlike the school where it's mostly just Billy.

SFC is compiled with the latest version of Renpy. So, if you use this Mod, wait until I finish the uploads. The version of the game in the OP is compiled with an old version of Renpy, and it is possible that it poses problem.

Too many engine changes necessitate starting over as running an old save on a new engine (using your car imagery; Unleaded on a Diesel engine) could cause a LOT of borkage. At least he's updating the engine NOW instead of say, V0.99.

Well, yeah, though...having just the engine means, you dont have a running car, as evrything else missing.
Having evrything but the engine doesn`t work eighter.
So, better to fully work something out and present a complete game, than just a halfway made thing.
There are thousands of games out there, but players will always get back to quality.
Even, if they need to wait some time.
But they also will fast move on, if quality suffers.

1. Quality isn't suffering...Saves work fine, unless you use mods. I'm pretty sure, you use mods.
2. 'better to fully work something out and present a complete game'.... This is an on-going alpha, and this is my full time job. Expecting a finished game from a two man operation such as mine is incredibly self entitled. I have to put out updates monthly, or I don't eat. If I don't eat. I don't make game. Basic Economics.

Old saves dont work.

As much I support the work of that guys, but its a shame, if they cant bring up a game with working saves.
Thats like building and selling a car and missing the engine.
I hope, there will be a quick fix for this.

As a user of this pirate forum you have pretty high expectations for a game in development. Especially when in this case the problem probably is on your side. Please wait for the modders to upgrade their mods before blaming Baal next time. Also, with 0.30 there will be a known save incompatibility, so prepare for that.
