ok, I understand your point...but a lot of the fun I (personally) get from a game is by trying out certain aspects of it, especially if I don´t know what will happen..again the drawbacks are not huge
Especially if we take into consideration that a lot of the players are using certain mods to gain the resources even quicker..that leaves the player only with the task to try something out and to see what happens, a normal game feature in my opinion. In the end (at least for me) a lot of the question come from players who aren´t even willingly to do this and yeah, maybe I would describe this as "lazy" and "idiotic" because they don´t want to play the game. They want the "action" in the shortest amount of time but if the dev decides that this isn´t how the game is supposed to work the player have to deal with it (or ask the same questions again and again, without taking into consideration that the question was answered before, something which can be easily checked with a quick search..but I said my part about “lazy” already)
