I started a new playthrough and was wondering if this is still current (from wiki):

Having Freddy help has you following Tamara during her after school activities on Mondays. Solving her problems will get Tamara to join the club. As of version 0.17, Baal

You must be registered to see the links

that this a DEAD END and you can't get her to join this way. It's remains true as of version 0.28.

I'm now at this point with Freddy where next occurence I would have to fight the thug in the alley when I follow Tamara again which is I think the last chance to go for the charming option instead.

If this fight still leads to the bad end I'd rather go the charming route again.

Tamara noticing you skulking around (or being told about it) kills any chance of her joining the club. Don't meet Freddy after school until you've won over Tamara.

Yeah, just stop meeting with Freddy on Mondays and keep working on Tamara instead

It's best to save your game before you start down the path of trying to recruit either Derek or Tamara because you can mess it up with both of them and lose them permanently. The method I use is to tutor Tamara til her favor is 100 before I have Freddy start following her, then have Freddy keep following her while making sure to always tutor Tamara on Mondays until she joins the club. Then I have him follow Derek and I have miss Larson let him on the soccer team. You can get him a date with Sandra instead but I prefer to have her to myself and the soccer team route is easier.

Fighting the bum will definitely cut you off. She pretty much has to be followed once (technically not, but easiest way to be sure), and can be safely followed three times. The fourth time, even if you skill check out of the bum fight, Tamara will still get suspicious and act cold.

The mom is unlocked immediately through Family Ties since incest-appreciation is the flaw of Mind Control. The sister looks "too young" to be a sexual target. So even once Billy has Mind Control, he isn't attracted to her. Sympathic Link's flaw widens the lower maturity of what Billy finds attractive.

Mindcraft takes time to come into effect.
Time depends on leftover control, lets say you have 20 control left after using your mindcraft it would take 5 days to come into a effect. If you have 50 control after mindcrafting it takes 2 days and so on. You can later increase the control attribute to speed up the process, progress happens when you sleep and you get a noticification when programming is complete while you sleep.

Mindcraft won't come into effect until the cumulative Control hits 100. The current Control total is added to the cumulative total every night. I once had a Mindcraft that would never complete because I forgot it was active and consumed all remaining Control on getting cash. About a week later, I tried to apply the Mindcraft again and noticed the problem.

It seems that using Freddy is a dead end now, so I've been just tutoring her. Her Favor, Lust, and Love are at 100, and yet nothing happens. No event triggers.

Tutoring her, just tutoring her. Only way to get her in so far I know. That Freddy is a dead end is sad, but hopefully because the story is not complete, yet.
