Adding onto what I just said, you saying that versioning is "just arbitrary" does not make it so. When I'm playing a
1.0 version of anything, that means that the
base game is
FINISHED. Contrary to what you have implied by saying that was the case even before 0.3, the game, as I have mentioned in the original post and in my review, the base game is
NOT finished.
The dev SAYING that he's just going to to bug patches now won't magically fill in the missing content. The idea for this game was good, the execution was bad, and the "final" "finished" heaping mess it has become cannot be called anything better.
However,
I do commend the dev for still responding to and trying to help out people who are having issues. This, like I already said, will not change the fact that the game is incomplete. I wish the dev luck in any future endeavors, and I do hope that the missing endings (i.e, dying, not completing all the 12 events, and getting captured while you don't have any other charecters to rescue your MC) can be implemented in some way. If they are, I'll make sure to come back and edit these posts and my review to reflect whatever the new state of the game is.
That only says "development is finished." It doesn't say they stopped fixing bugs.
Yes it can. It's clearly a bug and unintentional.
I would agree with you, but
none of the bad ending events having any conclusion doesn't sound like a simple bug, it sounds like content that wasn't made. As I said, if it is fixed, I'll revisit this, but it is not finished as of now.
