I bought it, a thing some of you can do aswell. Will flag the post for thread update.

No changelog available. I haven't played the previous version so personally I can't tell the difference.

Apparently nothing happens on the 45th day if you "fail", the game just continues.
thx but links don´t work

Seems like they did something with that version. UABE does not like it anymore so I can't extract anything from its asset files. Also anyone know other Unity asset extractors? I dunno why but UABE's UI seems to have changed in the latest build and now I don't see previews of image assets anymore

Using the [Abandoned] tag will be much more accurate for this game. Yes, it has CGs, and the Devs say that they've "finished" it, but you don't call a game complete just because the people who are making it say that somehow v0.3.2 and v1.0.1 are the same.
At the very least, it should have an [Incomplete] tag, due to it not even have a proper ending if you fail to "defeat" the hunters, or even if all of your charecters die out, but that wouldn't make sense as the screenshot earlier in this thread shows they don't plan on working on it anymore.

Except it's neither abandoned nor incomplete. . I know there's a standard to versioning, but in the end it's still just arbitrary. Dev likely listened to people complaining about the version numbers and changed it to make them happy. FYI, this was considered complete even before v0.3 so .

Nice, but the dev SAID that they stopped working on it, as shown here, so I'm just going off what he said. It is not my problem, or my job, to keep checking if he retracts his own statements.

edit: and, it can't be "considered complete" if the game has problems like not even having an ending for when you fail or die.

That only says "development is finished." It doesn't say they stopped fixing bugs.

Yes it can. It's clearly a bug and unintentional.

Adding onto what I just said, you saying that versioning is "just arbitrary" does not make it so. When I'm playing a 1.0 version of anything, that means that the base game is FINISHED. Contrary to what you have implied by saying that was the case even before 0.3, the game, as I have mentioned in the original post and in my review, the base game is NOT finished.

The dev SAYING that he's just going to to bug patches now won't magically fill in the missing content. The idea for this game was good, the execution was bad, and the "final" "finished" heaping mess it has become cannot be called anything better.

However, I do commend the dev for still responding to and trying to help out people who are having issues. This, like I already said, will not change the fact that the game is incomplete. I wish the dev luck in any future endeavors, and I do hope that the missing endings (i.e, dying, not completing all the 12 events, and getting captured while you don't have any other charecters to rescue your MC) can be implemented in some way. If they are, I'll make sure to come back and edit these posts and my review to reflect whatever the new state of the game is.

I would agree with you, but none of the bad ending events having any conclusion doesn't sound like a simple bug, it sounds like content that wasn't made. As I said, if it is fixed, I'll revisit this, but it is not finished as of now.

You can think what you want but many of the games here are not made by professional devs and follow versioning standards. It annoys me too but that's how it is. Dev had a list of goals, and when those were implemented, the dev called it complete. Unfortunately this dev deleted old posts so i'm going off of memory but i believe it was called complete at v0.1. Extra content was added for v0.2 and v0.3 as stretch goals based on sales.

AAA games do this all the time where they release their game with missing content. I'm not trying to argue that this is a good, well-made game, only that it's complete because the dev says so. If you have opinions about the quality of this "finished" game, that's what the reviews are for.

Well, I can't argue with that. Keeping such high standards for a random porn game which the guy is asking less than 2$ for is a bit ridiculous.

Not that it's any of my business but I have to agree with kelmentina that this game is not complete.

Just because the dev states it's complete does not inherently make it so, the societal standard for a story to be considered complete is that it must contain a beginning, middle, and end.

A computer game is nothing more than a story in digital format therefore it still has to be meet the standardized requirements for it to be considered complete.

Also, the very definition of complete is "having all the necessary or appropriate parts". Not sure about you but I would deem game-overs and endings as necessary parts.

I found your debate interesting so that's my thoughts on it :D
