I think op meant, this is only the first scene with MC.
In my playthrough Claire is just obedient girl. Caring, but no mommy-shit.
Most likely there was some trigger in the previous update. But I don't remember anymore (almost a year has passed).
BTW, suddenly this game turned out to be one of the best I've ever played.

Even before the hunter bite, MC a regular human held both his arms with his own strength which makes me believe the MC is not human. He also has an alter ego personality which is not fully revealed yet and hunter bite definitely did something to him.
Im a bit confused is it the end of the game the ending text made it seem like it was over? I hope not, shit is good.

I think it was more adrenaline than anything else. Flight or Fight response. The human body is capable of some incredible feats when needed, almost superhuman power. MC had something to fight for, and he wasn't going to let anything take it away from him. Even at the cost of his own life.
Nah, just the end of the first season. There is still more to come. If you read the end credits the dev explains that there will be more after this.
Fantastic update! This game is up there with Desert Stalker when it comes to creativity.
Martinez has really grown on me this update, even if I don't really care for boyish girls. Maybe my second favourite after Claire now. Akira is great too.

This game has beautiful graphics and the best part of all? It is very well optimized so you won't have any problems with the game closing, it is as good as Linkin Park's music.
