As BloodyFace said on the surface it looks like a corrupt download, you can try download again with a stable internet connection.

Bloody or J..D always recommend LQ version. On tablet/phone you will not see a difference. Even on rare smartphones who have 4k resolution. I searched a little here and found one problem like yours. But it was long ago, files are now much larger. He said that he play a HQ version. But I'm not sure if today is possible. Wait for developer's advice.

It really depends on your device... how much memory it has etc.
Sometimes, there's also an issue with the JoiPlay version itself.
I think that the Patreon version is newer than the PlayStore one and therefore might handle the game better.
I recommend the LQ version as rudy007 already mentioned regardless since it's not that big.
If you don't want to use JoiPlay at all, there is an unofficial port by Wills747 here.

Yes, I think you're right. MC should enter his room at 5 PM. I'm not sure if it works every day, but I triggered it at workday, not weekend.

v9.5 is out for patreons only, public release for v9.5 is on 14.04.Did I miss something?
The OP shows 9.4, but roadmap shows 9.6. Is there a 9.5?

No problem.
That's for every new update. New version is every month on the end of the month for patreons. Public release is next month on 14, unless game is leaked before.
