hi me help translate russian
Why help?
Oh the game, yeah I think MTool can translate English or Japanese to Russian, you might need to mess with it, or be better off with translating from Japanese, rather then Japanese > English > Russian.

Yeah, but still for Russians your best bet is still likely MTool, typically anything is better then nothing, and translating from Japanese Directly sounds like it'd be a better option then translating a translation.

Well it depend how the mtl works, honestly not sure how bing or other methods doing now since i know for certain that, at least before, multilanguage translations were passed all to english mtl and then to the specific language you want, due the already manual work done here probably the translation will be more accurate by starting from this very project.

Thanks for asking, but I'm afraid it's a lot. Since I'm in school, progress is slow, but once this semester ends, I can focus on this. I semi-regularly update the post I have linked in my sig, so you can refer to that for progress. I have about 20% of the common events done (1322/6875 lines). Of the 400ish maps, I have 5 done, but I'm also not sure how many of these maps actually have any content to translate. And I did items and armors, but still have to do weapons and skills.
So, suffice to say, a lot of work.
I've expressed my interest in translating this game in the past and I can help translate.
My main issue with translating this game is not because I'm not good enough at Japanese.
In fact, I played a recently released game entirely in Japanese and was able to understand most of the words and the story.
It's because I need a better way to parse the text and then apply it into the game.
For example, due to how Japanese is different in sentence structure compared to English, if you were to translate line by line, you will probably lose the meaning. And also Japanese is a lot more contextual, you need to know the previous sentences in order to know what the current sentence is talking about.

And if you were to dump all of the text into one giant text file, reading it with a text editor is a nightmare given how laggy the experience is.

You can send me the Japanese text and I will take a crack at translating it, preferably in something like a speadsheet form where the 1st column is the raw text and the next column is the translated text in English. It should be easier that way.

I use , which does essentially that. I use github to keep progress between my computers, so you can pull my current work from . Feel free to use the repository to do work on it and sync to mine, or branch it and do your own thing.
If you have any questions, reach out and let me know. I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Here is just the T++ file if you wanna take a look at how it looks

I took a quick look and loaded the translation into my copy of the game
I gotta comment on something before I forget.

This is a screenshot of the game and Translator++.
Look at the area that I highlighted, that's the tag of the speaker, in this case the player.

It shows that the speaker is talking or thinking.

If the tag is not formatted correctly, it will look like this.

I will also format it correctly as I come across them.

If you plan to translate later on, do keep this in mind.

By the way, the latest version of the game is Ver.1.0.11.
I have that version since I bought the game on DLsite.
If anyone needs it, I can upload it.

In regards to the speaker tags, the word wrap script plugin I'm using requires the format \n<*name>, as it overwrites the base \nw[*name*]. The plugin should be included in the www. If you want to manually wrap everything, then you can use the base \nw[*name*], but I didn't want to do that, so the format change became necessary.
*edit* for clarification, I'm using YEP message core for wordwrap
As for the game version, I will update on my end, so thank you for posting that

I've taken a look and gone through the Prologue with a fine tooth comb.
It should be understandable and consistent enough for players.
I've also combed through the Game manual, located in the top left of the player's house.
From the start of the Manual until the Trading section.

I've also changed some of the terms to make it more consistent.
I use terms like Merchant's Guild instead of Commercial Guild.

I used Batch Translation in Translator++, using Google Translate.
It's easier to translate with both the Japanese text and a quick machine translation for me.
But there are some menu options that didn't get translated and I'm wondering where they are located.

Speaking of wrapping, there has to be a better way to wrap text using Translator++.
I think I'm missing something here.

Translator++ will miss some stuff, is fine for a first time but is best if you use rpg maker directly (or other tools), but I'm not here to judge or anoything (as I'm in the same boat). About wordwrap i think dreamsavior have listen to me and have fixed it but didn't tried it yet (also don't think is available in the free version yet), the fastest way in any case is by selecting all files you need on your left (be careful on plugins), right click and wrap (sorry i don't have tool in hand right now).
Btw here on F95 you can find various guides about translating rpgm games.
