No he didn't, he said he made 5 CG for *that week*, that's how progress reports work. In his 12.30 progress reports he only mentions "Add a Battle event in FOG." Does that mean he didn't make any CGs for the battle event? No, because he posted spoiler CGs right after, which means he made them.He himself wrote about this in the report

This makes sense of course. But then it turns out that Asuna's event on Monday has more than 4 cg? After all, he also gave a preview of the graphics there

I always felt like Fujino is confusing CG with Scenes. 5 CG = 5 Scenes with some CG variations.

I guess at the end of this month or hopefully a few days before.
Five CG for battle events is plenty. Combat is barely a focus in this game and none of the fights have been challenging so far, so five images and animations that pop up while we're brutally slaughtering enemies should be an ample amount unless the update is pure combat.

Tbh, I’m not even sure you can actually lose any fights.
The whole point is to give Inoda and Asuna enough time to fuck around.Need to try it out next time; maybe Fujino hid a defeat scene from us.

Pick the first choices at the first three question when you start the game, it'll start you at 35, which is enough to see any scene that requires it, and you'll finish close to 50.
Misarmor already answered, but I'd like to mention that Fujino doesn't always say the exact amount of stuff they put into the update in every progress report. Misarmor already explained that "battle event" means an ambiguous amount of CGs were made for whatever Fujino wrote, and this is generally what's noticeable with Fujino's progress reports. Unless Fujino specifies the CGs are for a scene, you can make a guess that it's at least 2 to 3 CGs for an event. Sometimes it's a lot more than 2 or 3.
Another thing to point out is that while Fujino does mention making a battle event, they also mention the whole "I plan to make Inoda and Asuna go further in battle." statement. If I'm being honest, it's probably in reference to the "event". But sometimes statements like these can imply that Fujino made more CGs, and just never mentioned how much they did.
The most recent battle event that popped up came as a surprise with 10 CGs out of nowhere. Up until that point, the only kind of info related to it was basically the 7.22 progress report. The next report that came out mentioned the 10 battle CGs right before the update was released.
But yeah, Fujino doesn't always convey the exact amount of work they did. It's usually a pleasant surprise too, since it's usually more than what's reported due to Fujino's vague/ambiguous statements. Fujino mentioned the word "event" about 7 times so far for this upcoming update. Only 2 of those events Fujino mentions specifically how many CGs were made for it. This would be 2 CGs for a Suguha event, and 4 CGs for an Asuna event. Any other Asuna, Sinon, or Liz events don't have any specified number of CGs mentioned for them.
This basically implies a lot of work is being done, and there's at least another week to go.

Does anyone have reccomendation for other games similar to this? I really like the memory room of this game where Fujino organizes everything in order so I can understand the story even without playing the game
Do you think the next update will have a sex scene with this character? Or has it been around for a long time and I missed it?

We speculate she'll get one at some point. Unfortunately that's in the dramatically distant future. I can't even guess as to when she would even get one. But yeah she doesn't have one yet.

The logical thing would be success in the game and a pretty girlfriend, overweight people are bothered by that. (Maybe I was too honest)
There are definitely a group of people that hate Kirito and the reasons tend to vary. Does he deserve their hate? Probably not, but when has that ever stopped haters from hating.
