I think the haters haven't watched other anime, e.g. shounen, e.g. Naruto or Fairy Tail anime. Naruto always won, of course thanks to plot armor, although he could lose against Nagato. Natsu is an OP who wins and especially through friendship. I think the haters don't understand the word love has several meanings, girls like him because of his personality. I wouldn't be surprised if girls like him, because he's handsome, good, nice and helpful to another person. I'd rather be friends with a person who is helpful, good, nice and doesn't look down on me. (I'm speaking as a man). I haven't watched Berserk or DB, for example, but I've seen other shounen anime such as Fairy Tail, Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover. Of course the studio likes to cut out the monologue scenes of Kirito and Asuna characters from LN, and especially the love scenes, and it pisses me off.Funny thing, that actually is the SECOND chapter of that particular Fujino storyline, the first game before that one is Scathatch chapter which shows you how the FGO MC got there and in Shirou's house to begin with.
Also, no, sadly Fujino stopped doing that one and did SAO instead, but he did say a while back he wanted to go back and finish his Fate games after being done with SAO.
As someone who only stayed reading SAO BECAUSE of the FD arc (As it was Suguha's beautiful character arc and feelings what made me keep going despite how shafted she got AND kept going after that...has anyone realized she's not only the single heroine that had to SHARE her own arc's focus with Asuna, but also wasn't even present for the climax of said arc XD?), I can't say I agree with that, and also think people really overfocus on one aspect and completely overlooks everything else, especially because Sugu (As much as someone who only consumes this NTR game as SAO content can forget
As for Kirito being 'Too OP and the girls fall for him', LMAO, this has always been the shittiest excuse ever for hate against his characters when literally DOZENS of other similar ones that were a million times worse in that aspect came out in the years after SAO's first season yet it was only Kirito and SAO who even remotely stayed in the spotlight of the 'haters' (Who are a vocal minority anyway), it was always SAO being so popular what triggered most. Especially when LMAO, Kirito literally is suffering brutal emotional blows and trauma every single arc almost like his author got off on it, especially in Alicization XD
Kirito is not arrogant, he has problems with interpersonal relationships, he is antisocial. When he found out at the age of 10 that Suguha is his cousin and Midori is his aunt, he decided to distance himself from his family. Kirito is not very strong, for example in the 2nd season of GGO, if it wasn't for Sinon's help, he would have lost against Xadas. Kirito won against Vector thanks to the friendship that supported him, i.e. the power of friendship. I won't be surprised that girls like him, because he is handsome, good, nice and helpful to others. I would rather be friends with someone who is helpful, good, nice and doesn't look down on me. In the LN, Kirito's character is better described, even in volume 18 his stories from junior high school were shown, but of course the studio cut scenes from the LN. If a person who played as a beta tester before the premiere, then it is known that he will have more experience than another person who starts playing the game. Asuna loves Kirito because he is nice, caring, good to others, handsome and loyal to Asuna. Kirito said that if Asuna died, he would commit suicide, conversely, if Kirito died, Asuna would commit suicide. Kirito has classmates.
