It's probably not going to be a long update, since the delay is happening due to Fujino moving and getting another job. It's best to set lower ish expectations for this one in terms of content/length. Based off the percentage though, I'm going to guess we're 2-3 weeks away from whenever they plan to release the next update.
As a side note, the job hunt and move sounds pretty positive. Maybe it'll give them more time to work on the game too, due to the short commute.

By seeing the progress and fujino said he got his work matters settled so he can now work efficiently without any problems, so I think we can expect update on November 18 or 20 or earlier if he has some free time

The fact that CG's progress is only 35 percent does not mean there will be a lot of them and the update will be long. It's just that for the last 2 weeks, Fujino has been dealing with maps and recovering lost data. So he doesn't have the time or desire to do CG. Judging by the progress, I think the most optimistic is the second half of November... but I wouldn't be so optimistic, so I think it's still the end of November.

That's unfortunate the progress was slow this month, but I am quite happy he is settling into his work life a lot better.
Reducing time going to work is a huge mental buff so you can wake up later and return home faster, and I'm hoping the workload isn't as crazy as his previous occupation. The man deserves a good life.
That being said, kind of also unfortunate he is reducing the content in the alternative ending, but I'm also guessing he also knows his resources are limited if he wants to finish this game before this year.

I read the LN and I'll say that the anime creators changed Kirito's personality a bit for the anime, because in the LN he has a slightly different personality. Kirito has trouble communicating with people. In the game, Kirito isn't strong because without Shino, Kayaba, wouldn't have defeated Sugou and Xebec. Anyway, I like him, and I play SAO NTR and I like Asuna NTR for a different reason. I explained once that I like Asuna because she has a sexy body and a great personality. Asuna is one of my waifu from SAO. Kirito isn't very OP because he lost several times to enemies and almost would have lost to Vector if it weren't for the power of friendship. But I respect your opinion; everyone has their own tastes and opinions, and not everyone has to like a character. Anyway, I'm not a fanatic, so please don't misunderstand. Every character has their strengths and weaknesses.

Based on this timeline, the update could be mid-November or the 3rd week of November (No nut November). Not a major update, just finishing up the unfinished October. Or worse, the 4th week of November, things are already coming to a close, hopefully He doesn't take too long a break before releasing another game.

"I’ll be shortening the amount of content in the previously mentioned bad ending" what does it mean? is it like a future bad ending and he will trim that, or there is already a bad ending ingame and thats what the dev will trim?

Former; there will be an alternative ending where Asuna will not be with either Inoda/Kirito and is regarded as the bad ending. Comments are concerned that the resources required to produce this branched ending will affect the current two routes we now have, so Fujino has addressed that they will use less for it.

Honestly, what I'm personally the happiest about is that Fujino is getting his life back in order, and also that his new workplace is much closer to home. A whole hour of commuting back and forth from work, nevermind the time waiting for said public transportation and the time walking up to the stop needed to take it, takes a lot of time and tires someone quite a bit when done daily, so this will either make him work more efficiently or give him more relaxation time while working on the games, both of which are honestly great :3
About the progress, expected, but glad he finished the maps already despite the setback he suffered with them. As I thought, I assume it will be around 2 weeks or a bit less before we can see the update tbh, ubt nothing too shocking there.

I mean, it's either gonna be Yui or, also possible Inoda's delusion, reminder he has gone through that before when he imagined Asuna over Kyouko when they were fucking at the hotel, knowing him I imagine he would love imagining her having those cow udders IRL XD
On top of this, it's also very likely that most people in Ci-En (Which is where Fujino gets most of his feedback from tbh, is waaaaay more people over there than in Patreon and he IS natively Chinese after all) didn't particularly care for this bad ending much, and Fujino was only gonna add it on a whim: Those who support Inoda NTR-ing Asuna from Kirito are the main audience, and so they wouldn't want to see him 'lose' against anyone even if it's not Kirito. Those who hate Inoda/support Kirito that actually stopped to think about this ending long enough would have realized the only way this ending comes about would be, most likely, not only Inoda getting fucked but ALSO Kirito and maybe even the other girls, big time (If Asuna goes down you can bet her rich mom did too, so the bad guys would have even more power than before and nobody influential be left on the side of the main cast, so yeah). So the people wishing for this ending of Asuna becoming a whore for randoms would actually have been a small minority that had very little feedback compared to the other ones, especially the Inoda fans that would include many of Fujino's longest time supporters I imagine.

I thought there was a bigger audience of people wanting mainly Asuna to fall for her contradictory behaviour with Inoda and Kirito, regardless of what happens to Inoda or Kirito, which could have been the catalyst to him announcing this alternative route (along with the feedback form from before).
Either way, better health and lifestyle, less time on work commute and less alternative content, we getting extra extra EXTRA quality content on our future inoda/chadrito content!! Excited!
