I don't think this game uses video files at all. The K-Lite Codec Pack reccomendation would do nothing for this game. The fullscreen animations are vector/sprite based animations in real time, if i'm not wrong he used Live2D, as most Unity games are using it (Nejicomi "games" for example).

If anything, the problem should be either a very weak gpu/igpu, or old drivers.

Are MP4 video files. Try playing those with VLC or any other video player.. That was the reason the codec pack was recommended. But yeah it seems that it was a driver issue.

I tried VLC, MPV, MPC and AVI Demux, none of them played those files as videos. I don't know how you accomplished this through video players since Unity's resource files are normally a package of some sort, not normal encoded containers (mp4/mkv, etc).

Nonetheless, if they indeed are just video files with different extension names, then the Codec pack could('ve) help(ed), but that's news to me. Still, sorry for assuming, it's not like every dev do the things the exact same way, it was wrong of me to take it for granted.

No no, the game runs fine for me, i'm lucky to have a beast PC. I was just trying to help.

edit: btw, I also played the Android version and it ran just fine on my crappy Galaxy A10. Only problem were the touchscreen controls, the buttons positions are clunky as fuck, especially since the attack is two button presses togheter (which I find quite annoying even on the PC version).

No, I was just wondering how the game did things under the hood, if it were native or video, since the topic was brought up because of your problem.

Nice that it was just a driver problem. Sometimes some games are really annoying with some specific PC components.

What if we make it so that the character can hide? In the toilet stall, under the desk, a locker for clothes, bushes.
And as an opportunity. If you hide in front of the enemy, it will lead to a new animation.

As someone whose a dev for some things and thought of mechanics like that:
it would double the amount of animations minimum and require a redesign of the game's logic, enemy logic, combat loop, and level layouts.

Double the amount of work for sure. But you can easily solve a few other problems with a simple "wait" mechanic.

Have your level designed like normal -> Have a single [interactable object] you can hide in -> After the allotted time and if there's a nearby enemy (optional) -> Scene.
(Optional as in, should there be any enemies left, a random encounter, etc.) I think just having one spawn after [x], you're locked in and the sequence starts.

For a game like this, it could be a choice between wanting a game over or to continue after the scene. In which the enemy no longer exists.

You wouldn't really be changing much in terms of level layout, combat loop, or enemy logic. More work for the game, not to mention the animations. But it wouldn't be "as big".

You can unpack the assets and extract the files. I've checked it myself and the game over animations are MP4s

Sorry if this might be a somewhat dumb question but how do I unpack the resource files?

Once I figured out how to beat the first boss (in the gym) was pretty easy sailing, while being pretty important to manage ammo. Plenty of fun/sexy enemies later once you get past the high school, the zombies are pretty lame IMO. The spiders later were specially fun, with a lot of attention to detail for the spiders body makes them seem squishy and tries to create a sense of impact as they fuck the character.

My only gripe (outside of the occasional bugs, got stuck crouching once and had to open the menu to fix this) is impregnation is only through oviposition at this point and time, so while its a fun mechanic only the flies, spiders and tentacles take advantage of it. it is well animated and plays pretty smoothly, if tedious at times especially early on when you find almost no ammo and its just more practical to poke the zombies to death with her uh...stick - but once you get out of the highschool its far more enjoyable IMO, you can tell a good porn game when it compels you to keep going just to see whats next as opposed to sitting around getting raped into oblivion.

yeah, I really hope for impregnation being added to all/most of the enemies

Outside the gym boss, ammo is quite unimportant. Press the surrender Button, escape the animation then abuse the 3 seconds of iframes. Most mobs can be skipped that way, although being a bit tedious. The only mobs that need attention are Flies because they spit first ask questions later and spiders. Their melee animation seems to be larger than the surrender hitbox. You can juke them by approaching, dodgeing their first attack then step near and press surrender.

I started a new pacifist run and only shot the boss or healthkits in hanging in spiderwebs.

The difficulty of the game feels pretty good. You get a bit of give but you can get through the game without entirely running out of things at any point and can avoid being cum inside by just masturbating when the arousal gauge gets too high.
I was surprised just how effective the stick thingy is. You can still beat the last enemy you encounter and even the dogs who I at first thought were too fast can be killed with it without issue if you get the timing right.

Only area I went through guns blazing was the Spider area cuz fuck that.

no, can't do that. i have been try it a couple of times but save data from one device to another cannot be copied so its just gonna replace and delete your previous save and start from 0 dunno if someone have a way to fix this but for me
