I never manage to get NLT game to run on Linux using WINE version 5.0 (Ubuntu 5.0-3ubuntu1) properly. I am not expert in Windows or WINE and some say RPG Maker runtime needed to install to do. Maybe you (or other expert) can explain how to do this to help people with Linux only desktop? Thank you in advance. If you wanna act cool by using linux then at least get yourself a Wine compatibility layer so your not always asking for "linux version."
Uhm, there is one right in the Options menu in the startup screen.they should add the option to turn off the background music.
For me, the easiest way is to just click with your mouse to the exact point where you want your character to go, and let the game figure out the actual path.I was having difficulty using arrow keys for movement with new view but I switched to a xbox controller and found it much easier and smoother. Suggest others try it if they are like me and prefer not to use a mouse for NLT games.
