There is literally nothing yet in the game that would require one to go past the rock with a 7 on it, not to mention it's not yet possible to get strength to 7 without cheating/modding. You are understanding the walkthrough wrong.

Next Sunday a new chapter of Symphony of the Serpent will release! More secrets are uncovered in the aftermath of a chemical attack. The world is in chaos and some people are blaming sex. Imagine that!? With 4, all-new story scenes featuring some fantastic acting and lip sync scenes you're not going to want to miss it!

We'll also be releasing the new bug reporting system soon. Although for the most part the game has been very stable, continuing to get your feedback is key to keeping it that way. In other news, translation work for ToN's Spanish version and fixes to the French version are coming soon. Will post about them as soon as they go live.

Symphony of the Serpent - HD Video Mod v.17013​

The videos have a much higher resolution, are in 60FPS, have much more clarity, are color-corrected, have less compression-artifacts and a slightly sharper image. It's only tested on Windows-PCs. MacOS could also work.

Before you start:
Please make a backup first (just in case).
The mod will replace video-files in the folder "SotS Gamefolder > movies"
and the "CommonEvents.json" in the folder "SotS Gamefolder > data".

Installation is very simple:
Download the zip-file and extract it into the SotS game-folder and replace the old video-files.
Thats it. You don't need anything else (no engine-updates or mods needed for max. compatibility).

VP9-Edition:
The VP9-Edition of the HD-Mod should be compatible with older/weaker PCs with older CPUs/GPUs, Android & JoiPlay.
If the AV1/Main-Version does not work on your PC, try the VP9-Edition.
Qualitywise its close to the main-version; but larger.
This version is not tested on Adroid & JoiPlay yet. If your willing to test it, we will pay you in... friendship!

Tiny mistake in that it should read "south east". A bit of exploration would have solved that issue for you

It's fine. I think there was a small patch or something. Normally it should be 1.7012.

Yeah, everyone warned me years ago and I just said, "No, mine is different."
Now I warn others and everyone just says, "No, mine is different."
It's one of those things that goes around in circles and eventually it hits everyone...

This is the third game in a row from NLT, which have plot around sex virus. Sex virus was the weakest point in ToN. Why would you go with that?
MC is boring, story is weird and kinda similar to the prevoius game.
Am disappointed.

No, almost everyone from the start. We're probably used to the suffering by now.

I don't really mind the isometric view myself, but the combat is pretty annoying. You can just cheat if it's a big issue, edit yourself a ton of the combat items and just instant wipe everything.

The game has automatic easy mode: if you die I think three times in a row, every enemy drops down one rating on each side, then one more for every death after that, until they’re all green on all sides.

One trick I found that helped is to remember that combat is not turnbased: if an enemy throws something at you, you can avoid it if you keep moving; it’s just a matter of planning out your movements. Likewise, if you throw something with area-of-effect damage over time, enemies will just stay in it as long as you don’t move.

All in all, the combat in this game is kinda shit, and not very well balanced (fucking bat stuns), but pretty exploitable.
