came (hehe) for the hentai, stayed for the characters and plot

anyone got game recommendations just like this? i can never have enough of this
Sequel Blight has nice gameplay and a decent story, the same can be said about other games in the series. Overall, there are many porn games with decent plot and gameplay, you can find threads with recommendations.

I didn't have this thread watched, so I missed that a new translation came out. I just popped back to the thread to remind myself of details while longing for the release of the sequel, and discovered that there was a new better translation. I recommend to everybody, even if you already played once with the original translation, play it again. I understood the story in the original, and some of the jokes, but it hits so much harder and better with a proper translation. It's hilariously funny, and smashes your heart right in the feels, both of which aren't necessarily what one would expect from an H game, and why it remains one of my favorite games ever. Because it truly one of the best examples of a game, that has H, that does a good job of mixing the gameplay with the H, and tells a good story that is both emotional and funny.

I just finished playing through it again, and am still rather emotional about the end. I recommend to everyone who hasn't played it in a while to play it again, and if you haven't played it, try the new translation. You won't regret it, even if the H isn't to your personal tastes, because the game and the story are strong enough to stand on their own even without the H, which is darn good as well.

I'm off to go beat my head against the wall that is new game plus HENTAI MUST DIE difficulty. Wish me well.

One of the few non-animated RPG games that I would consider top tier. While half of the monsters aren't is my thing, the writing, fun combat, and execution of the things I do like make it work. I recommend this for anyone who wouldn't mind playing RPGs, but are still hesitant around the genre

the ending is fine, a little sad tho but the story will thickens mid or maybe late in the game, but before that you get a really interesting conversation with the little girl

Does anyone know how to cheatengine this? I am trying to freeze the damn timer for treasure pickup after every boss. The usual ...x 2 + 1 formula doesn't work. Direct searching for all variables doesn't work either. Searching for decreasing variable is also no good. Has anyone figured this one out?

As someone that hasn't used cheat engine before I can't help you, but I have to ask why do you need to? You can almost always reach everything before the time runs out if you sprint and plan your path well, and avoid hitting safes when you don't have keys to open them. There's even a skill you can get later in the game that gives you extra seconds of time, which basiclly makes it so you get everything every time. Even if you miss a few boxes though it shouldn't be the end of the world. They don't have anything in them that other boxes on that level don't have, so if you really find yourself short of some items, just grind the level a bit for items, but I would be really surprised if you needed to do that.

Well, it is as simple as "I don't like time limits of any kind" And, yes, it is not the end of the world and I'm not missing on much loot in a few boxes but it is annoying for me to think that after fighting a boss for a good 10 minutes (maybe even more if RNG doesn't go my way and I have to retry) I can't even get all of my rewards because of some artificial time limit :/
And speaking about skills it also seemed annoying to me that you are forced to miss out on all the boxes locked behind 2-square pits. And now that I finally got the bookseller to give me the skill book I'm starting seeing 3 square pits it seems. Just why dangle all those boxes and loot that the player can't get?
TL DR I just want to make the game less annoying for myself (and a bit less grindy, I suppose)

To be honest you don't even need to loot anything after you beat the boss.....if you just kill half or all monster in every map and loot whatever u can reach everytime then you'll reach the end of the game with so much stuff that literaly ridiculous.....
If you need 10mn for a boss , you're doing something wrong realy because even the final boss of the game you don't need even 5 mn to win the fight....... even if you're not high lvl enough you still can manage to beat every boss with the Super Skill the heroine have.....
Oh yea the pits thing are just forced skill to get those items but there is nothing you realy need to beat the game where those pits are lol ..... i know you feel the need to go get those items but the truth is you don't need anything there....

The pit size increasing is to give you rewards for coming back and playing the level again after you've unlocked the skills needed to reach them. First you get the 1 jump skill, then the two jump skill, and later the three jump skill. Each level has multiple difficulties to it, and going back and playing them again with the new skills gets you rewarded with those extra chests if you got the skill to reach them. Also some of the levels you are by default required to play a second time. At least once just to progress the story, and then again to fight the new boss that appears there as the story progresses (no further details to avoid spoilers if you haven't reached it).

This game quickly became my favorite eroge although I never fapped to it. The writing is absolutely superb and the game mechanics are very fun to learn.
