Tale of Eros may be about greek gods and does follow partialy it's story, but it doesn't mean it will also incorporate the gods aspects and characteristics itself.
Everything is mostly part of my imagination and creativity.

The story got reworked indeed to make it more interesting and give it the right feel.
Since the change of engines, everything was changed the good way.
Better graphics, story and characters.

"can't handle it" is out of place here cause that would be like saying, "handle it" when showing someone a video of their current gf/wife having sex with their previous partner, while yeah they ain't cheating, you still don't really want to see that... unless you are into that sort of thing though.
But people disliking that scene is a perfectly reasonable and natural reaction. When you self insert you kinda think and react as if it were real, the mind be funny like that. However that isn't to say that the scene shouldn't be in the game or made, but it is nice that the option to skip will be added.
imo it kinda felt out of place, not to be a dick or anything but it seemed like it was there to serve up some sex content that didn't affect the story MC side so that could build up more naturally (so that the story remained well paced for MC and people get to see some action in the meantime). although I could be very wrong and it might be there to build up to something with Ares.

But she's not MCs wife or gf now or back then so hardly the same thing. It certainly doesn't make this an NTR game as some were suggesting. I just saw it as a way of showing what the goddess Aphrodite was like and much like in the stories stretching back for literally thousands of years she was kind of a cock hungry slut. I see that as a positive thing going forward. It's been a long time, she must be starving by now and I only see one guy around.

You are merely dancing around the point I made.... and I can change it to suit the new scenario like this: would you like to see your crush or love interest being dicked down by someone other than you? Because that is what's happening from the perspective of you the player, which btw was my point, I am talking about perspective of the person playing, not the in game story, because while it might say 1000 years, it ain't gonna be 1000 years for the player. Also soon to be gf so the not gf point will be invalid in an update or two anyway.
Most people don't like to see their love interest dicked down by someone that isn't them and those are the people this game is more aimed towards, because as you say this isn't a full fledged NTR game where you get cucked to oblivion, nor was i suggesting that. And the other guy was just expressing concerns that it might be headed there, they didn't say it was already, they were asking (more than likely the question was directed at the dev not the thread).
The scene with Hephaestus is just like a filler of a anime, to tell some story of her background, the game doesn't contain NTR, at least I don't see it that way, maybe some players do, well in the future there won't be any similiar scenes, after all it is all about Eros and his loved ones.

Don't let this convo get to you, I am just trying to articulate my argument to McWoodz to try and explain the other perspective, that most people would have (and pointing out how "handle it" was silly to say
, but more so to try and explain the perspective that people would be viewing this from). However if you want the game to go a certain way, don't let our opinions change your story
cause you know.... then it wouldn't really be your story. By all means though listen to feedback, but stay true to what you want it to be.
