Has the dev said anything about the Raene path leading to futa/trans content or is it like Thim's path where you just don't treat him like shit?
Raene is a romanceable character so you can expect more than just a change of dialogues, should you follow that route.

It seems like you didn't played the latest update yet. Go do it then.
? I finished it right before I posted that. I'm not sure what you mean. It's not like the MC made any moves, it just seemed he was being supportive if you selected the good options.

Really great game, just finished the available content. Have a question though... I accepted a relationship early on with the asian chick, did that limit some scenes I was able to get because throughout the game only she had 'Relationship: Yes'. Can you only pick one, or is it just none of the others have gotten to that point with the protag?

She won't limit you, others just haven't made it that far, the closest will be probably Aven. It's just the same tracker as Sisterly Lust had, except in here, there's a bigger number of major characters and they aren't all related to you. Don't worry, it's still gonna be the same harem fuckery.

Normal military has procedures to deal with disobedience, usually involving military courts and dishonorable discharges. Blowing them up is not much of a procedure especially when the one pulling the trigger, is doing it to her own kid. It's pretty obvious they are portrayed as a 'Galactic Empire' type of bad guys.
I don't know, I'm guessing in most militaries if you committed literal mutiny, assaulted fellow soldiers, and then stole a fully-armed fighter intending to fly it into enemy territory, you'd run a significant risk of being shot down in the attempt.

It is the whole that paint their government into a bad image a la The Empire. First treating their own people as disposable, then shooting her kids plus sending killers after them.

Actually, in some parts of the world with border disputes, it's very common for military craft pilots to ignore orders and enter foreign territory either as retaliation for a similar entry or showmanship to provoke a reaction. This usually causes pseudo-dogfights but in vast majority of cases nobody gets shot down. Not even by the enemy. Now it's possible that superiors give said orders because they know that's what they have to say through official channels but the fact remains.

Back on topic, I don't know how anyone would not see this miltary as the bad guys of the plot but then again there is always the "Empire did nothing wrong" contrarian crowd so it's not surprising.

Those people don't do that to become deserters intentionally though. In many militaries, even now, deserters tends to get the short end of the stick, especially if they took something as valuable with themselves. The only twist in the scenario was that it's their mother who tries to execute them for it. While the current human government is obviously corrupt as shit, that scenario was nothing out of the ordinary if we don't count the mom thing.

Pursuing, retrieving and then punishing through procedures would be the most likely action. It's obvious they are portrayed as extreme militarists and that's why the first reaction is to shoot.

Both reactions from characters in-game and the codex paints Sovereignty as corrupt, totalitarian regime always looking to expand and conquer. Think Galactic Empire, Imperium of Man, the regime from Starship Troopers etc. It's a very common trope in sci-fi which makes sense since they are all inspired by actual human history.

I bow down to you, Perv, I really liked how you opened the book on Lilly's relationship. Mistaking a strong bond for a romantic love one, falling in love without knowing better and then all coming crashing down does really make good drama. In fact, a perfect way to write their story would been close any sort of advance up until that moment, while make Lily and Cam relationship be of mutual annoyance up until then, not even making Cam okay with Lilly's bs, and then resetting their relationship, them knowing each other back to 0, which happened for a bit but I really wished that lasted a little longer than a couple days and Cam could feel the tension rise up in that cell with Lilly, even if they just end up liking each other as friends and changing their initial relationship regardless. I do buy this more than any relationship building on SL, to be honest.

EDIT: Just remembered this plot line reminds me a lot of the movie Passengers.

Life in the space between one babe and the next .. oh .. the humanity .. or lack there of...

What is it that gets your buttons turned on in this game?

Do you still feel your humanity intact?

Is your imaginaiton throbbing with enthusiasm for every adventure ... and the next?

Any input is welcome.
