Haven't picked up but can you automate this somehow? like assigning jobs to gather food and materials?

I built a ship, but the MC doesn't want to sail because he still needs to do something. And it looks like need to make dishes for girls. It's just unclear where to get an unusual river fish (at sea?) and how to understand what is a salad.
Also, if you accidentally smash one of the buildings in the camp with an axe, then you can't rebuild it.

Yes, it can be disabled if a save was made before this feature implemented, because a save should contain a struct with restore point data.
Not yet. We are working on task assignation similar to the one from the first game, but with a new feeding system, that should lower the amount of routine. It was fine to feed and give tasks to two girls manually, but it'll be a problem with bigger numbers

There was this salad in the inventory, but the dialogue did not change. And manually transferring it from the inventory to it did not give a result. It is unlikely that I would not have noticed the additional icon
If the bug is repeated with the salad and with the building, I will add a save in the comment.
And as for the fact that you cannot swim to another island, is this related to the fact that the build ends at this point?
There is an additional action button for gifting, or you may use drag-n-drop too! You can swim to another island in 0.7.2, actually
Save would be helpful to check if there is a bug that prevents to give girls a gift
