I don't recomend messing with base stats on save editor because of that glitch. I had to restart a whole new save due this bug since I couldn't revert the edit to a reasonable save point.

Instead you can give yourself a lot of Lvl up points on save editor and increase those manually inside of the game by choosing stats then max HP/max MP when you cannot increase stats anymore.
