I have never seen a windows machine catch a virus with McAfee .... they usually stop working before they have chance to get infected
In all honesty both are junks ... Get Eset / Avast or kaspersky or if all else fails use the windows one ... it should suffice if you don't do a lot of googling for : free porn ,nekkid ladies or stuff like that

Oh ya, it's a well known issue with the engine. Even the ren'py games on Steam get flagged by anti-virus.You closed your eyes. I don't know why I decided to go all fruity and make it pink, seemed to fit. Maybe I was drunk. No ETA on alpha release yet. Been working all day on car animation maybe I'll have a patron preview for that ready by tonight. Tearing my hair out lost a key frame twice to a crash. Plus it's just a pain in the ass to pose, need to make more vanilla scenarios where I can just use the Rederotica premade anims like a lot of devs.

my advice to you is the PC you use to develop this game on be completely disconnected from any network, if you must have a PC buy a 2nd one that you use to go online and get the files you need web brows and play games and then transfer files over by a flash drive, having a USB 3.0 flash drive or using a USB 3.0HDD with a SSD in it would be optimal, doing this means you can remove all AV software off the non networked PC and you can turn off all the UAC safety features without worrying about getting viruses and shit.You closed your eyes. As far as I know, US gov was spying everyone and everywhere and we all heard/read evidence abou that. And even with that knowledge, I'm not paranoid. It's not really healthy state for your mind. For more than decade, Kaspersky is No. 1 AV according to experts from different countries.
