speaking of which, if you chose the path of getting rid of the drug dealer (and calling him a mongoloid lol) you obtain both Sara/Meghan's numbers, which I hope will be exploited in later versions as there isn't any progression in 1.2x.

Yep, I'm already working on eliminating all of the redundant dialogue you're referring to. As for the MC vs romance, it's going to be changing significantly. I mentioned this on my Patreon, not sure how much I talked about it here, but I'm sort of changing the way MC works and it has ramifications for romance as well—I'll quote my latest update here:

There's been a lot of talk on here and on discord about the role of mind control in the game and I think I've finally come to a solution. Mind control will stay in the early game as a way to have some "innocent" fun stripping, fondling, etc. but it will also serve as a way to increase you affection with the girls. Think of it as a love potion as well. So if I were to mind control Meg's shirt off, then say something like, "You have a beautiful body, Meg. You shouldn't try to hide it." Because she's under the effects of the drug (or maybe because that's just an awesome line to use in real life—you guys should try it out and report back), you'll gain a large amount of affection that can later be cashed in on potential drugged or non-drugged boning.

If you want to continue to to Cosby-MC that may be possible under certain circumstances as well. I guess it just came down to the fact that i started to like the characters too much to allow them to just be turned out by "grinding a few magic beans" as I called it. Maybe a rookie mistake. There was also the issue that mind control of the type implemented required constant direction from the player and I had long ago foolishly married myself to the gimmick of every player's word coming directly from a game menu. This was getting old fast.

That's not all for MC though. Somwhere in the midgame there will be a surprise MC-related twist I don't want to spoil, though my discord probably already knows (yes, I'm going for the darkest timeline).
Finally, in the end-game, after all of the girls have been fucked out of relevant feelings, MC will make a triumphant return as it's really the only way I can think of to make fun fantasy things like harams and mother-daughters lez-outs happen.

So basically right now you have affection, corruption, and control points. In the next version you will have romance points as well. If you choose to make romantic plays when the girl is MC'd you will be able to gain romance points which you can cash in even when the girl is not under the effects on the MC. The quickest and most reliable route to romance with the girls will be by skipping the MC path altogether. That said, I don't want to make it too much more efficient to skip MC, because MC bro is fun, so it will probably be a while before we see those non-MC routes pay dividends.

You know, I hadn't noticed this before. After reading ~200 visual novels and struggling through 20,000 lines of pointless internal monologue each where the beta MC ponders his feelings (yet never realizes that 6 girls inexplicably want to spin on his junk), I can definitely respect this minimalist approach. I guess you could say it cuts down a lot on the fluff. While that is great for reading, that must be really hard on you (as a writer) to pace the story and milestones in a way that it doesn't just fly by. I commend you taking on that challenge.

I can see how that approach is much more fitting for western erotica (where a consistent steamy atmosphere is more important than an epic story) to just have the sex/relationships get-to-the-point without all the lovey-dovey junk. I know when I am reading a VN, everytime the subject of dates come up, I groan. I fucking hate when they go on dates because it's 30 minutes real-time of redundant cringe where the VN pretty much stalls. I get the same feeling when a commercial break comes on during a movie.

Anyway, I'm ranting. I love your stuff. Thanks for the reply. And, yeah, the Van Morrison quote was gold. I couldn't not screenshot that. This is one of my other favorites. Something about imagining the hundreds of ways that situation could play out is pretty funny to me. It's just so 'What the hell?' I'd love to see more rare, random events triggered by getting drunk in inappropriate places.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. More than anything it opens up what I can I do in terms of renders. I have a 1060 right now, so not too bad—my understanding is that a 1080TI will render about 30% faster. BUT, I only have 3 GB of ram (compared to 11) which is often a nightmare. I find myself having to make shitty composite scenes (one example being the Meg harass scene--that one's definitely getting redone with the new card) and designs scenes in such a way that take into account the limitation of my VRAM.

And don't get me started on when you set an animation to render then suddenly on frame 3 DAZ decides that you don't, in fact, have enough VRAM, and starts using you CPU so you've left your computer basically useless overnight.

Yeh, I won't miss that.

True, I considered getting a Ryzen over an i7. My understanding though is that it doesn't make much difference with iRay(NVIDIA's renderer, used by DAZ) nearly all of the work is being done by GPU anyway.

You work on one machine, and as you animate, you delegate the render to a headless node, keeping the artist's machine free to continue working, while the render boxes do their thing off in the background. 10 jobs in cue, goto lunch

First person player perspective is great... for shooters, a sniper would be hard pressed to hit his target, without seeing through the MC eyes. Imagine doing the lockpick game from 3rd person. The majority of adult games follow the standard of porn, where the camera-man acts as MC-cuck behind the camera watching his leading lady, get fucked by that dude in front of the camera. POV porn, on the other hand, and POV games, changes the entire dynamic. Instead of watching two people fuck, you are seeing through the eyes, of the person doing the fucking, and or the one being fucked.

On that last note, POV makes it a little easier to give the player the option to play as a female teacher, or a male simply adding nail polish to some scenes.

Thanks for the info about the buttplug. Shame but since The Twist I've liked them as an item in these games So does this mean anal is off the table totally? Really not sure if I've completed all of the current content.

This is nowhere close to being true, and that article is nearly a decade out of date. GPUs (or more accurately, General Purpose Computing on GPUs) have come a long way and their massively parallel architecture are extremely well suited to rendering. DAZ3D's default rendering engine these day, Iray, is orders of magnitude faster on a GPU than CPU.

1.27 had an odd bug where after Day 2, the intro of the school characters repeats. after bringing this up with the dev, he rolled it back to 1.26.

I'm currently playing 1.25 which seems to be bug-free (at least I can't find anything game breaking).

since version 1.2 was released June 11th, I think we won't get another release until the end of the month; but dev just got a newly upgraded CPU and soon an upgraded GPU. I am looking forward to a content heavy update next!

Still very much working on this. The next release will be Patreon-only initially (as will each subsequent content release, with the prior release becoming free to all) so I'm working very hard to get a lot in before the end of the month for obvious reasons. Some preview change logs:

MC reworked to work more as love love potion as described earlier.
This results in interesting changes to existing scenes.
All girls will now have romance scores in addition to affection.
In particular this could really fast-track the relationship with the daughter, if that's something you're interested in. Anyone?
Extended movie night scene with alternate outcome with daughter.
Scene expanding on Anne's character.
New scene with wife possible right after her intro--you can allow her to explain herself and tender her up a bit or I suppose go on letting her be an uber-bitch if you want.
Rerenders for daughter to take account of her wardrobe change (as well as just look better).
Kait stuff I'm not ready to expand on at the moment.

I'm sure there's lots of stuff I'm forgetting at the moment and lots I'm planning that I've yet to begin working on, but I'm definitely looking forward to it as a milestone release.

*edit: even though my goal is a pre-month release, with everything that's changes and all of the content being added, I find it's probably unlikely just because I want to make sure it's relatively bug free before release, and there defintely will be new bugs introduced.

Shopping (at least that particular event) should be a one-time-thing. i believe i fixed it in a previous version but I'll take another look at at it.

some other possible future ideas:

> if you choose the path of getting rid of the dealer and getting the numbers of Sara and Meghan, this could open up potential for tutoring on the side (more money per week) and an opportunity to gain affection/romance points as you talk about other stuff besides school.
> daughter is on the soccer (preferably) volleyball, basketball, or baseball team and there are scenes where you go to her games and can boost your points cheering for her and taking care of her if she gets hurt
> Sara or Meghan look like they could be members of the band or orchestra. I could see flashes of "American Pie" style band camp jokes or scenes playing out from this
> if one of the female students (or even daughter) is in the music program, you could attend her concerts (performers usually wear formal black attire) and meet her after the performance (with her instrument of choice) more romantic/affection point chances
> MC should have "office hours" once a week for students to come by to ask questions or get help from students.
obviously the private tutoring option nets you more money but this route could pave the way to boost points with the females and even the other teacher Anne if no one shows up.

lots of potential- waiting the next week and a half or so for the next milestone update is going to be tough!
