I do agree with both of you. Even though it might be shit, you cant complain that it sucked since it was free. That argument again. Like I said before, free shit is still shit. This is a forum specifically made for pirating porn games btw.
That would be a good reason for everyone to stop talkingthere's not much else to talk about when the game actually has less content than 6 months ago.
Actually a white knight posted before I did:All games regardless of how shitty the dev is get a thread, as long as the game isn't against our rules. Look at wootch, the biggest scam artist on Patreon, he still has a thread here. We're about the sharing of games, not deciding who should or should not get a thread.
It's not it's equally cancerous, however you're one of the first to start back up with this shit since the thread was closed for 'cleaning'.
No scamming takes place on the forum, yet trolling does. If you don't like the game fine, I don't either. If you think the developer is a scammer, fine no problem you're entitled to your opinion. If you don't want to support the developer on patreon fine, download it here in this thread. There is no scamming going on, just loads of shit talk and threads which go around and around in circles.
There hasn't been any clear whiteknighting since the thread closure, however your posts are bait for them and just leading to the same shit.
Your comments are bait, they don't lead to discussion.
*chan style moderation doesn't really work for the forum. I'd rather ban a few people and waste through some shit and allow the free flow of adult discussion than deal with constant cancer everywhere on the forum.
TLDR; I agree whitekinghts are a problem; Constant shittalking is also a problem. Enough, don't like the game then ignore the thread. Want to discuss the game? Fine, stop regurgitating the same shit that has already been said across the past 100 pages. That goes for everyone.
Nothing quality here.I was a Patron of Deem but gave it up after he missed several self imposed deadlines.
I like his game (old version) but I could not stand reading yet another "not today, made more improvements" apology.
So I cancelled.
But the quality of his work is good, some of the dialogues are hilarious ( and not unintentionally).
So why be negative here?
We be Pirates mateys, not paying customers.
So offer insight, constructive criticism or even compliments.
Just offer no insults.
New people might like the game in it's current form without knowing that it hasn't moved in 6 months and they pledge hoping for regular updates which are not happening.or, new people play the game; and if they like it they pledge. if not they don't. positive comments or not.
i'll post some saves later tonight if i can.
"Surely" I have some bad news for you. Not much has changed unfortunately. How far does the content in 2.0 go. Couldn't get much further than the version I played many months ago. Surely some things have been added.
I'd disagree, that's a well reasoned post; "I used to be a patron, however he's let me down so many times. Although I can still appreciate his work, I've cancelled my pledge". Not sure how that is white knighting. The "no insults" bit is just a repeat of our rules (rule #1).Actually a white knight posted before I did:
Nothing quality here.
Opinions are fine. Negative opinions are fine. Positive opinions are fine. Criticisms are fine. Compliments are fine. Regurgitating the same thing over and over isn't, shit like this:What I don't like about you telling me to stop posting here if I don't like the game is that it only leaves people who like the game. New people coming to the thread see the overwhelming majority of positive comments and they pledge to the dev. If they see negative comments too they'll think twice.
I'll be fine to stop posting if there would be a message right next to the dev's patreon saying that the game actually downgraded in the last 6 months and that it isn't worth a pledge.
you can give your opinion on the game, but you can't complain about the consumer/developer relationship, and that's what you are doingThat argument again. Like I said before, free shit is still shit. This is a forum specifically made for pirating porn games btw.
i'm partially disagreeing with the last part of your statement there. deem had stated around when the alpha was in progress that for the short term, he'd proceed with more frequent update schedule to add content (similar to how the game started out in its infancy).New people might like the game in it's current form without knowing that it hasn't moved in 6 months and they pledge hoping for regular updates which are not happening.
If I was the game dev I would for sure feel like I was scamming everyone. I mean the subtle delays of 2.0 releasing it 2 hours before his next patreon payday, genius. And the content is maybe a months worth being generous if you compare it to most devs so its pretty safe to say he didn't work on the game at all for 5 months. It's interesting to see how a lot of people who haven't supported him on Patreon now seem to call him a 'scammer'. I agree with the sentiment that as a whole he has failed with regards to the goals he set but I find a lot of people being needlessly toxic and insulting one another. There's nothing wrong with thinking the games good or thinking the games bad. Lets just be civilised people .
apparently there is a chain where you can invite her over to your house. you'd have to figure out how to get rid of the wife and D/FES (it was rumored earlier in the thread that you need show/concert tickets in order to get the house to yourself). So, as a total n00b, the drama is way over my head. I have a game question, is the current end of the Meghan storyline finished after you've taken her to the college? Been grinding a while after and don't seem to be getting anywhere. Is there a trigger I'm missing?
Cheers.
So I say the game is not good and then leave and the comment gets buried under the sea of people who are praising the developer. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be having this discussion if I were on the other side of the spectrum, meaning very positive and replying to every bad comment saying how amazing it is.I'd disagree, that's a well reasoned post; "I used to be a patron, however he's let me down so many times. Although I can still appreciate his work, I've cancelled my pledge". Not sure how that is white knighting. The "no insults" bit is just a repeat of our rules (rule #1).
Opinions are fine. Negative opinions are fine. Positive opinions are fine. Criticisms are fine. Compliments are fine. Regurgitating the same thing over and over isn't, shit like this:
"This game is so fuckin bad, WHY NO MROE INCENST!?"Isn't acceptable. As I said, we're not going to continue going around and around in circles. If you have criticism then be constructive, explain your reasoning. If you have compliments then again, be constructive and explain your thought process. And when you do, you don't need to restate it on every single page.
"He is just a scammer, he hasn't done anything in 6 months"
"Don't say anything bad cuz you'll get BANNED LUL"
"U r just a hater, the game is fukin awesome"
"He was haxed so its fine he didn't do any work"
The game is in an unfinished state so reviews also include how fast it's progressing.you can give your opinion on the game, but you can't complain about the consumer/developer relationship, and that's what you are doing
Is it just one scene with the cheerleader? everything else was in 1.999999999999999999995?"Surely" I have some bad news for you. Not much has changed unfortunately.
