First time checking on this since the last shit storm that went down and have to say I'm not entirely surprised this happened. Sad that it is cause tbh this had some of the best CG in any of the porn games on here.

Agreed. It's sad to see this game abandoned, given the quality of the CG and Deem's fantastic writing, but really it's not all that surprising given how things have panned out. The last release was an enormous disappointment, and while it might have set the stage for a lot of positive changes and content additions, it doesn't seem like that follow-through is ever going to happen. It's been what... six months effectively since the last time there was actual content added to the game, setting aside the heavily ironic Dotty shade Easter egg? I hope Deem's just keeping his head down and working on a more impressive release but I don't think it's likely at all.

He would've popped up with an update the moment he lost $1,500. That should be the sign that this game is dead. You don't let that much money just slip away

If this game ever stops being developed it's the fault of people who mercilessly attack and badmouth a guy who went through a ton of shit, had to redo his game almost from scratch and still continued working.

This game has basically the same situation as Parental Love had, how come Irredeemable gets so much more shit for it?

Due to the sheer amount of cancer in this thread, we are more heavy handed when it comes in moderation to prevent it descending into the shitfest of January/February.

by that logic any dev that joins the site and says a few words is a saint who should never face any heat for a poor product they put out.

people only gave him shit when he took 6 months to comply with the new policies. instead of taking the easy way out like many of the other dev's, and changing a few words here or there. he gave us 1.9 or whatever it was, with loads of hype about what it was suppose to have.

what we really got was a bug riddled mess. with maybe 1/2 the content we had originally for 6 months of taking people's money and than not delivering? i fail to see how anyone who was supporting him, and now feels like he stole from them is in the wrong tbh.

You are conflating the causes with the consequences, reversing the timeline. All devs who fail to keep up with their promises are criticized on this site. I don't personally do it, but it's very common. Be glad that he was not criticized despite meeting deadlines before, like Dark Silver.

Moreover, after a dev lackey literally lied (reminder that this person was also involved in conversations that resulted in banning people from the thread, whose negative reviews were also removed), how can you even believe that there wasn't a blatant bias here?

Circlejerks belong to discord, not public forums. It's quite unhealthy to want to make a circlejerk out of everything you like, everywhere.
