Meh,another one with way confusing start, concentrated on thousand details what prolly won't have importance later on. Like ppl said,didn't meet anybody,just names,names and more names. A bit of action on the end,pulls you back from depression. I hate when I have to use skip button on first release. Quality is very good,but the bitter taste is still there.

One of the 'easiest' aspects to improve in terms of making a visual novel are the renders. You get some money, buy a better graphics card and that's it.
The really complicated thing, in my opinion, is to improve or have good writing. Writing that is catchy, interesting, fluid, that doesn't become heavy or tiresome despite being complex, etc. It's a big, big advantage if you already have excellent renders. Really, they are beautiful. Some of the best I've ever seen in my couple of years on this site. So, according to many comments I'm reading, the writing could be better. And with your gorgeous renders, you might find it easier to try to improve the writing.
I've said that several times already. I don't think anyone here expects a script on par with Scorsese, Coppola, etc. But, being visual novels, the script section is a very, very important factor. At least for me. I think there is an excellent idea here. If you focus on knowing how to tell the story in a fluid, gripping and interesting way, I think you've got it made. What you want to do really strikes me as something unique and adult. Obviously nowadays it's difficult not to find similarities with other visual novels, but I think it's a great detail that you keep trying.
I prefer a thousand times a story that tries to do something more "complex" than seeing the same story of the perverted teenager who spies on his mother while she takes a bath over and over again.
So... I really hope you succeed and wish you the best. This has definitely caught my attention a lot.

Not overly impressed by the first release. It's a great looking one, that's for sure though.
Story wise, jeez, can MC have some consistency? Or is the whole point he's suffering from dual personality?
Half of his inner thoughts are how people deserver what they get and how he'll climb the ladder, 2nd half is how poorly he's doing and how he wishes he didn't have to do it.
Characters wise, there is again fuck all so far. Everyone got exactly fuck all development.
Decisions wise, nobody gives a shit about first decision made in the game either, conversations are 99,9% identical (literally one line difference) between kill and let live, so I can't base their personalities on their reaction to murder/letting person live either. There is literally nothing to deduce what characters are like.
Girls wise....what girls? I still have no fucking clue if one of the mentioned people is MCs daughter, his sister, his ex-wife, his girlfriend or something else.
Very poor start, but I'll give it a go if I notice it under latest updates in the future. Not going to follow otherwise, doesn't seem like it will interest me too much.
Oh, I do have a positive. Mafia is being mafia, killing people and shit. Jeez, you'd think it's the most humble and honest organization in the world based on F95 games.

Renders looks really good . Story sounds really promising. Then I read the dev tags no harem

few other writing errors but nothing bad enough to really break focus on the read beyond anything you would get from a published book, so already a very good start considering what else gets released here.
nothing here not to like but, as yet, no hook to grab me either.
got the vibes that this will be a slow burn for the sex angle but a good violent mob story to keep the reader hooked.....or at least that is the hope.
like anything here tagged with VN, personally i hope it will become known for it's storytelling as opposed to it's great art.
only time will tell...
either way i hope you guys both enjoy and learn from the journey of creating your project and let it springboard you to further heights

I doubt the devs will release a Linux version yet. Maybe next update. So, I recompiled the game just for Linux using the same Ren'Py version. 7.4.11. Works fine in Arch and LinuxFX. Extract everything into the main folder, not the game folder.

Well their first US chart hit I believe was Hold On, but Joe Walsh's Rocky Mountain Way...was what got the band noticed in the US.
But being a Canadian teen in the 80's, I was fortunate to see a number of Triumph's shows over their years of touring in Canada (they were such a good band to see live). And so were many other Canadian bands like Rush, April Wine, Chilliwack, Brian Adams, Toronto, Head Pins, and the list goes on with Canadian talent during that time.
Here is a vintage clip from the 1983 US festival, one of my favorite live triumph sets. It shows how polished and talented they were back then (one of a few clean...no drinking or drug using bands). Sad though...Rik's Rock n Roll Machine solo, was cut off showing some law enforcement guy half way through it.
