Every time this question is asked another year is added to the dev cycle.Will this game ever get any update? I am tried of waiting for it, so can anyone recommend me some games similar to this game? Please

Last news from dev was April 1st of last year saying "V3 will come out whether you like it or not." Just, y'know, not in our lifetime.

Seeing his patreon shrivel up as people realize there are no updates coming has been a magical experience.
I really like this project, but I've been waiting for so long that I'm starting to get disappointed. The author's vision is excellent, but taking such a long time is a mistake. And yes, I understand that the author does not owe anything to anyone, but with more news and more excitement, people would express their attention not only with words, but also with money.

I'm surprised anyone donates with his whole: "Fuck you, I don't owe you shit! I could quit Teraurge development tomorrow and no one would have any right to be upset!" shtick. Especially after 5 years of nothing.

If the update doesn't come out some time this year then I doubt it'll ever happen since it's already been 5 years
With this speed and lack of information on progress it is hard to guess, but I doubt it will happen this year. Maybe in 2030 when you just ask the AI to create the Teraurge 3 for you based on the previous game, and it will make it within minutes.
