It's not abandoned current. It's being recoded and shit.
Version 3 is being slow because it's a coding rewrite and it's not the dev's main gig. Supposedly, we're nearing 3's release.

We got a nice update that's worth showing.
Current look of the inventory with various items in it. Including a little gremlin.
(the clothing placement on the player character will be fixed)
MD clarified that the version that should come out this summer (hopefully) is actually more like a closed alpha (because I've been calling it closed beta). There's still Hanon's music and general feedback and bugfixing after that. V3 should come this fall or winter if things go smoothly.

I really enjoyed the parts of this I played ~3 years ago and I'm glad to hear its coming along. Some parts of it struck an unusual cord with me. a number of parts I didn't find sexy per say I did find endearing and worth a playthrough.
I like the Neo-Scavenger style inventory and I expect I'll still like all of the writing once I can come back to it. Not sure if its the same for everyone else but honestly I'm weirdly not antsy for the release. It'll just be a nice treat once it drops and I can try it out. When the day does come though... That little gremlin is all mine.

A surprising amount of people only play this game for the lore actually. And some just enjoy being part of the community.
Lyluks have gathered quite a number of fans over the last year for example, and they are not necessarily there for TU.

This game is hands down my favorite porn game I've played, and by alot. I'm confident meandraco will eventually put out v3 and thats enough for me.

Seriously though. I really like female protagonist games, but SO many of them use the same models, especially that one fat guy model that is almost always used as the MC's boss.
I hope that walking around naked in the game will provoke certain reactions in the characters. Because i love the exhibisionism
