The real problem is that for the last 4 years he did nothing but add some 15ish scenes and never progressed past the casino
Is it difficult to make you leave the casino and let you play in the open world instead of finishing versions there? I mean, when I finished my first play, I thought I could leave the casino and do the missions I never finished so i had to make another run :/
The bigger problem was rebuilding the whole game. JimJim didn't have a good outline of the game or it wouldn't have been stuck like this at the Casino. He should have finished past the Casino part on the old game setup, come to a stop that would lead moving on to another part of the story, then rebuild the game for the next part/chapter. In stead he rebuilt the whole game leaving the story hanging with a cutoff at the Casino part. This is the result working on your own as a creator. The whole point of a even a small team is to trust each other and get the game updates done in a more efficient, timely manner.

Crazy that I used to support this game four or five years ago and it's hardly changed... Does Jimjim ever actually intend on progressing the main story? He's literally sat on a goldmine as this game targets a niche that hardly anyone else has. Wish he'd take it more seriously.

He said he was 40% done with the next update, I am just hoping at this point that the update drops before GTA 6 or atleast before Eternum reaches 1.0

Dude had 40% done in 17th of january of 0.10 BETA 5 apparently.

yeah, i don't know why it's taking him SO LONG to make it past the casino and it's quite sad because just like On Edge, we might never know if this game will receive updates or reach a completed state.
I want to remember him saying he only had rendering scenes left to do at some point in early December? Guess he scope creeped himself again
