What installation note? all i found was a wordpad that had very little readable in english on it.

When it comes to unlocking the staff room, I assume first you have to do every other event in the game (for me it was finishing the machine you can do 2P solo, which is also the way you get the claw minigames to be easier, whoops) after which you'll hear a short jingle and the man behind the counter will comment about dropping the key. After which you need to interact with a toilet (only tested the men's room) where you find the key. Then you can finally enter the staff room and get 1 final event before unlocking the recollections machine.
It's also impossible to get into the staff room with the girl in tow even after the event.

Just slide it in the main folder of the game and overwrite your own.
