How many western succubus games have killing, soul sucking, etc? Usually its just "she gets stronger from sex" "has to feed from sex". If we want to be very literal a succubus is just a sexual vampire, there are other similar demons that feed off of other energy or sometimes emotions. I feel its pretty rare to see even evil vampires, usually they are feeding off bloodbanks or pigs or something.
Mercenarys Adventure has a succubus, well she may as well be a succubus (shes a lust demon) but she enters into a contract/ loses her power so never actually gets to kill anyone. Anyway, I mention it because she would have killed an entire village if you didnt stop her. Edit More about her, she uses her lust magic to make other women horny so you can fuck them. She absorbs the energy through the contract (through you). She is a pervert but not a slut, she only has sex with the MC.

There is actually a game that has what I would consider a "real" succubus. It's SUCCUBUS by MadMind Studio. Warning though, if you get the uncensored patch, it will be very very graphic. You can turn off a lot of the more fucked up stuff and keep the nudity and sex mini-games thanks to an update a while back. But yeah, consider this a warning.

Oh that Succubus game. I kindve feel its more graphic because its set in hell than because there are succubus.
The point Im making is "real" succubus depends on the legends you are using. We have legends from last few decades, or the new age vampires that are usually non-lawful but non evil. We have the original Dracula from a few centuries back where vampires are as heinous as the worst demons. And then theres the legends before even then before they were called vampires. Your "real" succubus might be based on older legends than the new age vampires, but those arent the oldest legends if that makes sense. Think of the original definition of an incubus, where its described as a weight on your chest as you are asleep, as if someone was straddling your chest, often feeling fatigued afterwards as if you had just had sex. Now today we would call that a simple illness thats being misunderstood, but those old legends have all sorts of explanations attributed to demons.
The oldest legends werent that graphic or that extreme. What they saw as evil a 1000 years ago is very different than what we see as evil a 100 year ago or today. I agree that succubus as just a slut can be boring but that doesnt mean a slutty succubus cant be interesting too. I just picked up Succubus Stories and thought it was interesting, its just about a perverted girl that has to consume cum or breast milk and you can be a slut if you want to be. Spoilers but theres another succubus in it that starves herself because she hates being a slut. So whether its interesting or not just depends on whether they build up the world or the setting. I think if the world has no detail it doesnt matter how graphic it is, its still going to be a boring depiction of a succubus.
Thats just how I see it though, Ive never really been into drain magic being very harmful. Its like those Asian novels if you read those, where magic users can use females as "a cauldron" where they have sex to extract magic power (Im butchering it to make it short). If they are evil they kill the female, extract their soul and turn them into a magic item that can be used for combat. If they are good the female also benefits from the exchange. Usually its inbetween those and the female trades her energy (that doesnt cause long term harm) in exchange for resources, (edit) think like wizard prostitution. None of that is even about succubus or based on western legends or fantasy just by the way. (I think its Chinese legends? Honestly Im not sure on the origin, it might be Korean.)

I know there's a gallery unlock but I want to fill it out myself. However, I can't find the last two scenes that are on the lower left of the gallery, the one's with her sailor outfit.
I kind of agree with him though. I'm not up on my demonology, but succubi are more than just cum vessels, and it would be nice if they played with that more rather than using them as a flimsy excuse for rampant sex. They're like plumbers to lonely housewives at this point; so cliche that it's satirical instead of appealing. There are at least a few examples of succubi fulfilling their rolls in porn games while staying true to their mythos, and they were better for it (also more meaningful in the ones where they didn't just fucking kill you).
