OK 1st things 1st, so far she has met Phil twice and looks like a 3rd time in the park (again) next update.

You can only opt out of the 1st hook up at the resort (the 1st bar man/waiter IIRC).
This is part of what drove my "some control over what direction" comment. A bit like later scenes at her parents you can choose one or other, but not neither.

Not sure if it was ever mentioned, so many pages to read through but the movie scene if you choose to go or not is bugged. If you go with the wife to the movie instead of staying at home, later in the game you get the scene as if she'd gone with nicole but tells you she couldn't get ahold of her and had fun but can't tell the mc about it yet. That said, looking forward to chapter 9 and glad i didn't actually come across this before it was several chapters in. Interested to see if she goes back to the strip club, that holds potential.
