I have a feeling the next update is probably gonna be mid-March. Just checked that Mircom is going to release the entire day of Chapter 14 Wednesday-Sunday. That post was on patreon on Feb 17. Mircom also just started doing the weekends of the game that day and is gladly having time to go work on it. I can't wait once it's finally up live.

Yes, even that went away after the first couple of days. Whatever the title suggests, whatever the game was intended, it is quite definitively a story of a cheating wife out of control.
Any complaints you see about the game not living up to its title, or the MC choice being limited... It is regarding the feeling of being "duped" into believing the game was about a couple enjoying sexual adventures together. Whether the player chooses to play the faithful husband, cheating husband, willing participant, etc... She cheats every time.
There are so many paths. Lots of ways to play the MC and Anne. Regardless of the path, Anne will continue to sleep with as many people as possible without involving her husband. On paper, the player has choices. In practice, choose anything that deviates from the cheating wife story and you end the game. Ignore all other aspects of the complaints. Ignore what players believed the game to be. Ignore all the obvious failures of the author to create a compelling story. When it comes to cheating and multiple partner sex acts, this game has something that few, if any, provide to the community.
It is frustrating. But I still play the game because what it does do well — the cheating wife — it does very well. The sex scenes are hot and vary enough to keep players interested. Although it is becoming mundane. Almost as if the author has made it his mission to see how many sex scenes and multiple partners he can include in one update.
It is not as if people here are burning torches and trying to lynch the author. They are just complaining about things that most of us also see as problems to differing degrees. Nothing wrong with complaining or wishing things were different. Everyone has an opinion. This is the place for sharing them.

Alright, let's start there. Would you say that there's a progression in the husband's feelings from when she isn't yet doing it, to when she first does it, to when she's doing it a lot? Because there is. He's incredibly into it and very pushy, then he's super into it, then he's encouraging, then he's almost indifferent because he expects it. His fetish was fulfilled. He hasn't cared for ages, in a playthrough with those stats. He wants to go off and fuck other women, cheating and lying about it, while Anne does the one and only thing he wanted from her: fucking other guys. He's no longer even turned on by it, he just expects it.
It's still cuckolding. But it's a cuckold fetish driven by an uncaring asshole.
Well, they could've read the text and understsood how the game was going to go before the MC and Anne even left for Punta Cana. Once they returned, the shape of the game was very, very clear. Anyone who plays on hoping for something different is either willfully blind or skipping through the text for the lewds.
That's not entirely true. She does cheat, and that's a failure in the story, but only rarely if you've the right stat build. In the first chunk of the game it's only with the doctor that she cheats; the others she'll tell her husband about. Eventually.
And here's where you lose me. That was true ages ago. Years ago. Once you put Anne on this path, you can't stop it. The game made it very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very clear that you can't, even in-game, Anne warned you of te consequences. That was a zillion releases ago. So why would anyone keep playing if that wasn't okay? What sort of self-torture is involved in playing a game in which you've forced your wife to fuck other guys, now she doesn't want to stop fucking other guys, you want to resurrect the ability to change her behavior, and she refuses? Because, to be honest, that sounds like the very heart of a specific sort of cuckolding fetish. The hardcore humiliation version, in which you've lost her to other dicks because of your fetish. Continuing on, hoping for a different outcome, strikes me as lunacy.
What I am saying more than anything is that the story fails at so many points.
On every playthrough, Anne will eventually cheat. If you have to caveat the failure of the story, or that cheating exists, you still are acknowledging the existence of failure and cheating.
Sure, it could be viewed as painful self-torture... Definition of insanity according to Einstein... Willful ignorance... Or it is a recognized failure of the story. Yet, despite those failures, some aspect of the game remains playable. In my critique, I specifically discuss that after a certain point the player has to accept that the story is off the rails, failed in many places, and will never get back on track. And for those players, save the heartache and quit now. For MANY players, Anne has become unlikeable. The MC has become unlikeable. Those are major failures as an author. There is likely no way back to coherent storytelling. However, that opinion does not take away the fact there are other aspects of the game that remain playable and enjoyable.

Agreed. But I've been saying and posting about this particular failure since it happened. How long ago was that? It feels like years. I've never argued otherwise. It's one of the many, many core failures of this game.
We're here now, discussing a game that "accepted" Anne was an inherent cheater zillions of releases ago. So I feel like the discussion has moved on to the game as it exists. It's fine if someone prefers otherwise, but I'm looking at a game in which !) the husband has never done anything but cheat, 2) Anne cheats even if you play a game in which she won't, and 3) Anne having sex with as many people as possible is the core goal of the game. To play TAC any other way is to reject its premise.
There isn't. This either ends in an endless repetition of the same activities (as we're playing now), or it ends in chaos and divorce. I think the latter was always the endpoint, and so I view the relentless stretching of the narrative as boring as hell. End it or change it. But no more of the same roller coaster. It's gotten tiresome.
There are true sources of story and conflict in the game. Dre, Martin, Ryan, I can't remember any of the MC's girlfriends, and so forth. A clever game would return to those conflicts.

What nobody who has been howling at the moon about this game seems to recognize is that Tony has wanted, from the very first frame of the game, all the things that are pissing them off. He has a thoroughbred filly and he wants to set her free and let her run. If you don't want to play a game featuring a woman who is so out-of-control slutty that they are still writing erotic fiction about her sexual exploits 500 years after she is dead like Belisarius' wife Antonina you can't say the game didn't give you a heads up. I don't know about you, but based on the choices in my playthrough they are both having a blast. They both still have high relationship 20+ faithful status, swinger status, no cuck status, and are having quite a pleasant vacation where they invited a father and son back to their room for a spit roast.
Whenever the husband sees that Anne is rubbing up on another dude on the beach his attitude is like "Cool. My afternoon's free.
