I liked the new options where you can not choose to do something or let Anne do someone, like the Dre at the gym, I just hope you get the same option when it comes to the MCs dad, that you can stop Anne and she won't go behind his back and fuck the MCs dad.

The pizza thing was both good and bad, that you got the choice there who delivered the pizza, just a shame nothing happens if you choose the girl, not sure if anything will happen in the future with the pizza girl if you chose her.

EDIT: I found out why Ren'Py doesn't like the animations. Instead of using a actual animation or video capable file format, the dev instead is forcing Ren'Py to load a few dozen PNG images and play them in sequence. So while most of the frames are in WEBP format and less than 1MB in size, each of these animation frames is a 1.83MB PNG, and the dev is having Ren'Py try to load a few dozen of them at the same time.

I was a little disappointed with the pizza guy being kinder and gentler than before...it's funny when you think about it, but the prior version Anne got with some 50 or so people, and out of all those guys, only ONE had any of the Bull tendencies where he could potentially take over the relationship (Martin isn't a bull, he's a thief). That's a huge opportunity missed as obviously with couples that actually open their marriage, an asshole that tries taking over their lives/marriage has to be up there on the list of concerns when strangers get thrown into the mix (and someone unworthy like a lowly pizza guy taking over would be quite the spicy story line IMO). I think the whole aspect of risk and pushing boundaries is absent because Tony has no internal struggle, no doubts to his wife's love, no worries expressed getting together with total strangers, Tony is 100% a-ok with everything, so there are no stakes.
You actual cucks will have to verify this for me, but isn't the whole point of a cuckold is the jealousy and helpless feeling that something might be growing out of your control? IMO it comes down to Daz&renpy significantly lowering the barriers to entry of game creation. That's mostly a good thing, but a side effect is people without the traditional game design skills you'd expect are behind many titles. As the overwhelming majority of assets in a typical Daz game aren't made in-house, the dev has little experience (and it stays that way) with what's under the hood. That's not to say the typical game made in UE doesn't include many imported assets, but I'd bet the average UE dev has a much better command of skeletal movement, bone weighting, stuff like that.



Separately, I really wish the dev would make some alternative paths. Right now, while TACOS has slightly shifted tone from TAC, it's really just a series of "Show scene?/Skip scene?" choice buttons. I've never encountered a choice prompt where the "go further" choice had negative consequences, or the "nah let's not do this" choice was anything more than a scene skip. This new game lacks consistency in choice, but that's a common problem in games of this type. e.g. I didn't choose a scene, I didn't see it, but the game treats it as a scene that happened, which is hopeless.

I'm not expecting someone with zero experience in animation being able to do something decent on their first shot. However I hope that once a neophyte 'animator' had created the 'running' animation on the treadmills for this update, they'd have the good sense to be to tell just how shit the end product was, and simply can it before it ever saw the light of day. Nobody in the audience needed to know that this dev has rock-bottom quality control combined with zero skill at animation; but now that's plain for all to see.

Plus, this isn't a neophyte developer. This thread is 698 pages long and is a month short of 5 years old. This dev has been making renders and slapping them into Ren'Py for a substantial time. Even if they can't keyframe an animation to save their life, I'd expect them to AT LEAST be capable enough to package the animation sequence in such a way that doesn't cause the game engine they have 5+ years experience with to shudder, pause, and become unresponsive for literal seconds at a time. Even if they're not a capable animator, in 5 years they should be able to export a render as a video format (or at least be comfortable in Googling HOW), so that the end user experience isn't an absolute train wreck.

Again, nobody in the audience needed to know how incompetent this developer is, but now we all know.

Being someone who has no idea what it takes to create a game like this, I will be honest, I laughed at the scene in the gym where the blonde in the blue shorts is running. Animation, when done right adds a lot to a game but that wasn't a good effort. BTW, I'm playing on Android and when it gets to that scene the game crashed for me. I re-tried it a few times and got the same result so I just went back and skipped going to the gym. Regarding the game itself, at this point I will have to say that Mircom has done a wonderful job of improving the things that I thought brought the game down. The scene in the bed when they were talking about Martin was very well done. Not only did it make sense but it also opened up a path where Annie could cheat on Tony (if you want to go down that path). Realize, while she did cheat on Tony in the original he never forbid her from seeing someone (I could be wrong it's been a while since I played the original). If at some point she does hook up with Martin that will be the ultimate cheating move. I'm not saying he will add it in but he has created a scenario that will definitely result in them breaking up. I always thought in the original, if you send Martin into the bathroom with Annie, Tony gets excited to see them. That doesn't make any sense at all. So overall, I have to say Mircom is doing a good job, but as I always say, that's just my opinion, it doesn't make it right, it just makes it mine.
