whats up with the encryption of this game? Why would the creator need to encrypt almost all of the game files?

I was just checking in after a good while because I wanted to accumulate updates before I jump in after enjoying a previous version a lot. To my shock I see that the game got thrown under the bus by the powers that be, which really sucks.
On a previous page there was a suggestion that there might be something like an off-platform patch provided by the dev once its finished to reintroduce the lost content, and hypothetical content current updates will be missing out on. Do we have any knowledge on what the devs intentions are on that at this point?
I saw the post of them talking about adding scenes and devices which suggests those are still gonna be a thing, so all is not lost I imagine? I don't mind waiting due to marriage or anything, but the game being forever gutted because of porn ban would be awful.

The game's development is still ongoing as usual. People will still be able to get their hands on the game with full content, and the developers will have flexible ways around current issues. The Chinese are pretty damn respectable when it comes to business you know
Here's to hoping that dude's marriage goes as smoothly as the game's development. Last 2 years have been awful so specks of good news would be welcome

The fantasy magic is a bugfix/mod that just adds in spells and abilities that are patreon-only. For example, at the very end of the game there is a "teleportation ring" that makes it easier to get around the dungeon.

Yo has anyone played 0.90 and figured out how to get the shadow dash skill yet? It might have had been in the game for some time (if you held the button used for mana potions in 0.88 you will roll to the right)
