Not officially in new versions, but older versions still do. Some fans are inserting the older h-scenes from 0.82 back in, though.
The whole reason for the removal was because Patreon demanded their removal.
When Patreon sees this thread, it'll likely be permabanned for good, unfortunately. The Developer's under a lot of stress right now and one more strike on his Patreon will probably kill the project.

The patch is an unofficlal bugfix/mod, and destabiizes the game. Unless you're good at coding and such, I'd hold off until things get more stable.
It's less a matter of piracy and more so him not wanting patreon to nuke his account before the final release.

It's possible you're missing more than just that one. I had the same problem when I did afresh install of windows on my old laptop. Easiest way I found to get all the files was to download Visual Studio (not sure if it included all the files in base version or if you need one of the extra options. I selected a few addons). It put all the required files in the right places that Pixel Game Maker is looking for.

Truly thankful for this. Would you also be so kind to point me in the right direction as to how to decrypt this project? It seems pretty straightforward considering you get the decryption key and every json file starts with enc but I still haven't figured it quite out yet.

The Game keeps throwing error messages for missing DLLs. Apparently I am missing VCRUNTIME140.DLL, MSVCP140.DLL, MSVCp120.DLL and MSVCR120.DLL. I googled those and found that those are supposed to be in Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable 2012, 2013 and 2015-2019. I installed those and restarted but I am still getting the same errors. Can someone help me get this running?
