This games development is a bit of a weird one.

There is only one download though there are multiple "Seasons".

The devs substar only has download posts or images seemingly. And weirdly enough I couldn't find a 2.8 post there. Only 2.7. Maybe I'm blind or dumb.

And the discord is apparently entirely deserted by the dev and unmoderated. It gets spam links every few days or so.

WTF is going on and when does the next update come out?

The one here on F95 contains both seasons.

2.8 is right there on Patreon, I see it fine.

News about the update is also right there on Patreon and are voting whether keeping 2 versions or not, and updates are long periods in between because the fact there are 2 versions.

From now on, the game will only have one version, featuring the new characters Sarah, Lisa, and Piper. The reason is simple and can be seen in this update. Just their scene at the lake consists of 257 renders and 19 videos. I can't replicate all that content with the previous characters because it would significantly delay the game's development.

Here you have Season 1 and Season 2 of the game, complete as they will be published on Steam. I invite you to try them out. In any case, I suppose if you load a save game from the other version, it will work in this version, although the characters of Sarah, Lisa, and Piper will be different.

Just one request: please don't leak the game until it is published on Steam.. Enjoy!"

The poll was put online one day after this message, perhaps because it received a lot of opposition from its supporters.

But the DEV's answer indicates the game's fate regardless of the poll.

Well his answer doesn't really say the fate of this version, it just states that Steam makes more , what would the sense be of making the poll this message is also about as old as the poll do you have anything newer

(y) yeah that's what I see to, Discord is no help at all nothing really on it takes you to Denos City. This will end up being one for the trash if it's only Steam won't do that, I guess we should know something in the next month as that would be around the 3.5 months if both are being done

Maybe instead of speculating all together we can ask BackHole , he was connected today in here. BackHole, can you clarify a little bit the situation with the game? Will it have two versions or just one?

As much as I'd love to see the Dev respond here, it's completely understandable if he doesn't want to get flamed by a bunch of pirates. ;)
I already bought season 1 on Steam, but was holding off on Season 2, as I like the Patreon version better. If the Patreon and Steam version are the same going forward, it's disappointing, but understandable.
Most likely Dev would lose more support by having a super long delay between updates, than by just having one version of the game on all platforms. :devilish:

I mean, they already did. It was just an idea taking advantage that the dev log in often and sometimes engage in this thread. Just to have a clear message from him instead of spending numerous messages elucubrating about.
