When I played this a few patches ago it felt like there was hardly any content, and the whole prologue>remake thing never really made sense. Has this developed to the point of being worth a reinstall? Also, I see 2 different mods available for the game, one by Qleaf and one by 0x52. Has anyone used both, and would you recommend one over the other?

It seems some of my events reset. I had 1 already for the whore you meet on the streets and then had 3/3 after doing all of the events a little bit later the meet the whore on the streets triggered again and I now had 4/3 so I had to do some console editing to change it back to 3/3.
It seems after talking to someone and using the glasses and later when the shop is there the glasses can sometimes still be active underneath the shop icon and the last scene you looked at with the glasses can pop up when mousing over the shop icon and if you move the mouse to the right spot the scene you saw with the glasses will appear.
Hitting the H key anywhere after seeing a glasses scene will pop up the scene from the glasses or sometimes whatever scene you saw last like you were in the kitchen and went to your room and went to bed you hit H and the kitchen scene is shown instead of the bedroom scene. It's a bit scary when you hit H and get a black screen and start going fuck my game just fucking glitched only to find out that hit H just brought up the black scene.

Easy fix for missing picture type files is to extract the game files using unren and then follow the pathway to where the file is suppose to be and make a copy of a .PNG file and rename it textbox2.png and since there is already a textbox.png file you just need to make a copy of that one and add a 2 to the name and that error will be gone.

I've had sex with Alice and with Juliet. Alice happened first, but I couldn't get the fairy to accept the love energy until after I had sex with Juliet.

I found there to be a problem with continuing from my old saves an update or two back, and I ended up starting over. I'm guessing your Alice trigger didn't go through or didn't transfer from old saves? I'd try that, personally.
