I don't mind realistic approach by dev if that is consistent with how the game is. But this game is still a porn game where recruiting new player depends on MC beating her on playing chess and then having sex with that player. This is a porn game where there are players happy to be touched in the pussy by MC during massage. This is a porn game where the player would bring MC to her home to sleep naked together with his dick between her pussy. This is a porn game where players engage in sex act at their workplace. This is a porn game where MC's boss and 2 co-workers put their hands to put ice pack on MC's dick. This is a porn game where someone is using cum to paint lmao. To suddenly use "realistic" as an excuse is hilarious.
So you're complaining about one scene not having enough nudity for you, then you go on to point out all the times the MC has fun showing that this game indeed does have plenty of nudity and sexual content. Way to undermine your own point. The difference between all those instances you point out and the photo shoot should be very obvious but I'll spell it out for you. They were done in private. Their workplace is open to the players and staff, that's it. The photos from the shoot would be available to the public. There is a massive difference.
And I frankly don't give a shit about realism in these games, I read a lot of fantasy and sci-fi so suspension of disbelief is something that comes naturally to me. But characters acting in ways that don't make any logical sense isn't really a realism problem, it's just bad writing. And the dev seems to be trying to make the characters behave in ways that make sense for them instead of filling it with nonsense porn logic, though it clearly does include a bit of that since it is an AVN after all. I'm fine with fuckfest games filled with porn logic, but that's obviously not what this dev is shooting for in this game. They seem to be going for a balance of realistic behavior with a dash here and there of porn logic, instead of full on porn like some other games.
Because according to the dev, there will be more players who will become future LI. Nude calendar photoshoot is a reasonable starting point to that for the players who have been undeveloped so far. Why would the players barely know MC? He's been in the team from the start of the season and worked with them. Then he literally just saved a player's life in front of everyone. Heck, even during introduction, there is already someone like Isadora who was flaunting her ass to MC.
The players barely know the MC because it's only been a few weeks in game since the start. How well do you know your co-workers after only a few weeks? You might know a few fairly well at that point but definitely not all of them.
And no, a nude photo shoot is not a reasonable place for someone to suddenly decide out of nowhere "Lets get naked for this guy I barely know, maybe he'll want to start a relationship!" It'd make far more sense for them to get to know the MC one on one in personal moments than to put on a show in front of a photographer they don't know, their bosses and other teammates who might be around watching.
Why doesn't it make sense when The Matildas have done it in real life? The game spelled it out for you as well why nude calendar makes sense when MC explained the idea during the team meeting.
Because one team did it before doesn't mean others will want to. The Matildas did it once what 40 years ago? And it didn't exactly become common practice for other teams to do afterward, did it?
Ah I must've missed the article about Olympians fucking on the train in public to fulfill their fantasy. It's also funny how you are trying to sell how sex for athletes are so common because they are young and hot to justify the 2 Japanese players banging MC, and at the same time trying so hard to make it sound like the athletes of OCFC are so unwilling to be seen nude by MC lol. Where is the consistency in your logic?
Again, big difference between public nudity sold to everyone and some fun in the corner of a train. And yes, Olympian athletes get up to a lot of kinky shit at the games. Like I said, look it up. Plus I even point out in my original post that you quoted that the scene with those 2 Japanese players went a bit too fast to be really believable, only kind of plausible.
Ah, I guess Anya masturbating while MC walked around with his new boss suddenly doesn't count.
By that point Anya has had intimate encounters with the MC a couple times and obviously has a crush on the guy. Just because one player is okay with him seeing them doesn't mean they all, or even most of them are.
No. I'm expecting that if the nude calendar is a plot point, then there will be nudity involved. Otherwise, just make a fundraiser calendar shoot and avoid the whole obstacle that the management had to go through to get the green light.
I get it that you hate exhibitionism and you're happy there is no nudity in the calendar shoot. That's fine with me. But your excuses just simply lack consistent logic to take seriously.
The calendar as a plot point isn't about nudity, it's about selling a calendar to raise money for the team using the players sex appeal, without requiring full nudity unless a player decided to do so. The MC even pitches it to them as tasteful nudes, nothing explicit when he brings up the idea. It's not till later on that Leah points out to the MC that some of the Matilda's calendar shots were fully nude, the MC wasn't aware of that when he pitched it. He hadn't seen the full Matilda's calendar.
None wanted to bare it all, and that's perfectly fine. They're still mostly pretty racy shots.
I don't hate exhibitionism, I actually really enjoy it both in game and irl. Since I dabble irl with it I have personal experience with getting women to go along with my kink, not many are willing without some serious convincing. Very few jump at the idea. It's putting yourself out there in ways that most people aren't comfortable with. Some are, but they're the exception, not the rule.
The bottom line is you seem to not get that there is a distinction between nudity and sexual encounters in private, and something sold publicly to the masses. They are monumentally different things. And most people would not be comfortable selling their nudes to everyone. You're the one not being logical here in the slightest. Too many AVNs fogging your brain would be my guess, warping your perceptions and expectations.
