It's mentioned multiple times why it's the "dark" choice, it's going against Ivy if you accept.
and what does that mean? what choice is the best at trhe end?? i don't want to betray Ivy , but i would love the project be a hit....so what to choose , damn i hate choice

If you don't want to betray Ivy, it's not much of a choice, you just tell Leah no. If you want to see all content, make two saves.

my last save seems to be broken. I didn't see in the notes that there would be a issue. Am I gonna have to start from the beginning?
Edit, seems like error's happen when adding the WT Mod. Running the game without it seems fine.

Honestly yes if you installed the WT mod running the last save won't work. You will have to start the whole game again- I usually install the walkthrough mod and I always start from the beginning

Game is really good so far, am enjoying it. Keep up the amazing work and can't wait to play next update!!!
Just can confirm. As I'm no fan of too extreme novels, this one - up to now but I'm sure it stays the way - is hitting a spot in the top 5 of the novels seen. Looking forward to the next chapters

is there a way to indicate you're close to finding the placard trophy in the trophy room I've been clicking on things for a bit and haven't found it yet.

progress_update.jpg

First off, huge apologies for the lack of progress updates recently. There are many reasons for this, which we'll get into shortly.

A major and unexpected development that we've had to deal with has been the sudden increase in censorship, and the subsequent change in rules by itch and Steam. While TBG is generally a vanilla game, some of the existing scenes - as well as some planned ones - were in breach of those. That's meant that we had to go back to the drawing board and change - and in some cases remove - entire scenes. I underestimated the knock-on effect of those necessary changes. In a way it's a compliment because it shows how complex and nuanced parts of the game are. But mainly the feeling has been one of frustration - I'm sure it's been bad for the fans like you seeing a delay, but trust me, it's been way worse here. We've worked long hours to get everything sorted out, and while we were at it, we also improved the game. We got the job done a couple of weeks back. I've since playtested it, and Riam is part-way through play-testing. I am super proud of the now 'compliant' and much-improved game. The sheer number of changes is insane. I can't possibly list them all, so it's a case of judge for yourselves when the time comes.

So where are we now? We're hard at work on finishing off Book One, which means v0.10 being completed. Book One you say? Yes, another one of the new platform requirements is that you can't release as Early Access on Steam. So TBG will release as a complete Book One. That's also why we've spent some additional effort on improving parts of the game.

What does that mean for supporters and free tokens? Nothing changes. Anyone that's put a substantial amount of money towards the development of the game will get the full game for free on Steam/itch. That will mean it is split into 'books' on Steam, but it's the same deal.

What about timings? Please see the attached progress update for numbers, but we've made a lot of progress, and now mine and Riam's work calendars look good over the coming weeks. For me, that means my productivity should return to the level it was back in August. We're both productive individuals when we have time available, and that means I am optimistic about delivering Book One in the near future. Once things are more clear, we'll give a date range.

All that's left to say is to thank all of you for your support, good will, companionship, friendship, and patience. The game's going from strength to strength and by the end it I am confident it will live up to its own name.

I'm curious about what rules were put in place that required what looks to be a remaster of the avn. I know that the UK government has been trying to pressure online sites to do more age verification checks to block some age groups from accessing them but that is about them having more control over their citizens than anything. Even though I am a little disappointed that you guys have been forced to do a remaster of everything you've released so far causing a later release date, I am looking forward to playing it again to see the changes. Apart from the train scene where the mc role plays molesting Akiko, I can't think of any other scenes that may cause a problem so that has me curious about what was changed/removed.

The unfortunate problem is that the Dev has remastered or made significant changes (requiring playing from the start) several times already. I understand that the Dev's hands may be tied this time but God knows I'm really not feeling like replaying everything from scratch again.

After a little sniffing around I found the following list of things that are a problem at least for itch...

  • Non-consensual content (real or implied)
  • Underage or “barely legal” themes
  • Incest or pseudo-incest content
  • Bestiality or animal-related
  • Rape, coercion, or force-related
  • Sex trafficking implications
  • Revenge porn / voyeur / hidden cam
  • Fetish involving bodily waste or extreme harm (e.g., “scat,” “vomit”)
That's a lot of AVNs that contain some of that content which would get flagged and removed from there site. I can understand why itch was forced to make those changes by the banks as they want to avoid a bad public image by the snowflakes who get upset over small things but it wont stop people from liking that content. As I said in my previous post the train scene would likely be a problem but that was mostly due to my thoughts about Japan's problem and thinking about possible assaults in other countries. As for the rest of the content, I really don't think it'll be a problem considering the characters are aged 21+ so will skip the barely legal stage.

I appreciate you taking the time to explaint that because I had no fucking clue what could have been the problem. The sexual content in this game is mostly vanilla (I like it like that). That being said one would have to be a complete Jackass to have a problem with consensual role play on the train. Aiko takes the time to explain that this is a fantasy of hers and she is eager to do that with the Mc. Heck they even had a safe word.

Although based on the Dev's post, there must be more scenes that were problematic since he had to redo or remove several of them.

I don't think I covered everything but that was just a bit I garnered from looking at other avn threads that pointed me to a main thread about it. There are probably other rules to consider for itch and patreon which is what requires the dev to do more work than necessary. That then leaves another problem too for the devs as depending on their location they may be limited in what platforms they can use to get subs for their work as I saw a comment in another thread about one dev not being able to use subscribestar due to his/her location as it was being blocked.

As for what you said about the train scene, I think it would depend on their reasoning for it. Some won't like it because they are sticklers for the rules but there are others who may not like it because of past traumatic experiences and see it as a form of promotion for people to do the same. At the same time because that scene falls into several categories of that list, you'll also have people report it because they are either jealous or disgruntled for whatever reason. Personally, I liked that scene because even though she had help, she exposed herself to having 3 kinks as in public exposure, borderline rape fantasy and that she is a sub. It's hard for people to expose themselves like that, even to those they trust so it was nice to see.

I understand that you're playing devil's advocate, but I think we both know that everybody has something that is traumatic or triggering to them. For example, if you have ever had someone break into your home to steal your stuff, then theft might be traumatic or difficult to watch. The option is there to not choose that scene on the train. No one is forced to play it. If you remove any scene that could offend anyone then you are left with nothing.
