I'm still having the issue of preferences resetting every time the game is opened with the latest update.

Come now, developer updates it yearly anyway, one playthrough per year is not that bad IMHO.

I have to re-download the game downloaded it 2 days ago then the update came out today 
got one question is the crazy vamp chick from the car still in the game.
got one question is the crazy vamp chick from the car still in the game.i'm confused atm. i have a number of quests active but i can't do anything with them. i didnt get an end of content warning either. i have little red but no way to get to nick and leah's house. i have hero quest but no way to get to anyone other than ambers name on list, i have a number of other quests but nothing is giving me options to do anything or call anyone. sooooo is that actual end of content or is something bugged or something?

As much as I enjoy some of this game I wonder how long it's going to take for the mc to get stronger getting his ass kicked will get old fast. Though with the slow production time this game has assume it will take a while.

I have the same issue. Is there some way to advance time so that some of these things fall into place or something? I was looking forward to an update so this is really annoying.

You're done. The quest log not reflecting the end of content or being unable to progress further this update is something that's been going on since the game released. I first mentioned it in this post in May 2023 :

The quest updated in this build is the Serial Thrilla one to continue this quest use the phone in the mcs bedroom once you have completed that quest that's the end of the avaliable content In this build and it should give you a end of update notice it did for me anyway.
I get that but even though the dev stated that one of the changes was an "end of content" message with this update? Also, someone just mentioned something about getting one-shot this update but I never experienced that.
I get the Don't Call Anyone message when I try to use the phone and I never got the EoC message either. Hmmm... Oh, well. Back to Stranded In Space.

There was an "end of content" message in red when you get back to your apartment after finishing the conversation with Zoey on the couch. It shows up in the middle of the screen for a frame, so chances are you clicked past it if you didn't see it.

Also, I think this was a pretty decent update, I actually like this vampire VN more than any of the other ones, in terms of story telling, realism and overall quality I think it is easily the best one, only wish the update schedule was better.
