Seems like there may be a memory leak or something, games runs fine for 5-10 minutes then starts chugging along all of a sudden, closing the game and reloading after a save fixes the problem for another 5-10 minutes.

And after Diary Of a Jumper this looks like 2nd one destined to be abandoned. Not at all surprised with 3 people juggling half a dozen AVNs, prob all of them will end up the same eventually.
My new policy is to not support anyone until completed, then 1-time payment if I like it. I'm tired of just tossing money in a bonfire only for shit to get abandoned later or content drastically changed halfway through into something I no longer have interest in supporting (ie removing incest, lolis, and other kinks that got me to sub to where the story no longer makes sense if that isn't also changed too, so it's no longer the same AVN I signed up for). Besides that, assuming it takes 36 months to complete the AVN I'm subbed to and I'm paying $5/mo = $180, for fucking porno that's free almost everywhere and that's when things go according to plan (such devs are getting rare these days). I can get a decent real hooker for that for an hour instead of just a few thousand 3D renders of them. And if I pay extra have her tell me a story.

I've done that for the past couple years. Every now and then I will see one that isn't finished that I like enough to try out, but I check the dev's record with previous games.

Great policy! I am dropping back to doing that myself I think, especially when dev's start expanding what's supposedly 'optional' content which changes the flavor of the game entirely, or they add shit that completely destroys the feel of the game as they try to draw completely opposing fetish into their pool of supporters. Unfortunately, some of these alternate fetish supporters become fairly significant trolls too.
To summarize, yeah a solid policy to only support dev's who remain true to what they say their original plan and goal is. All those who start adding shit and aren't honest up front with how their game will actually play deserve to have it all pirated.
