Damn, I was totally wrong about the mother. Thought that her drinking will somehow be related to the story, be mystical or something in nature. Didn't expect that. Well, at least now we know what to get her for Christmas

The mom being in the wrong at what she did is definitely balanced out by the actions of the father, so whoever told the dev she should be punched...mate...You, you should be hanged.

Pretty cool game so far. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Although it's a bit of a slow burn and perhaps a slog at times, I like the idea of it taking time to moving into a sexual relationship with someone the MC is related to.

There are a lot of great option in love interests here. April, "the roommate", "the landlady", Hazel, Linda with the needed wax, Apurna, and her roommate (more so than Apurna in my opinion), and others all look like excellent possibilities.

Say, is that cannibal GILF going to pop in at some point to maybe catch some meat from the MC? No. No. Don't give away any potential love interests hiding in the shadows. We'll wait.

Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to more of this one.

You define the relationships in the game, although it's very obvious incest is intended. It's just a technicality to sidestep restrictions (like on Patreon). There's no incest patch needed, because you decide this yourself at the very beginning of the game. The obvious relationships are: Grace = MC's mother; Hazel = MC's aunt; and Lisa = MC's sister.

We finally get the big reveal. As the comment above says, it needed some 'stunning explanation' to justify the mom being the drunk driving bitch that she was and for her deserving redemption / forgiveness from her family and for the player.

My opinion is that the original idea was that mom was raped at dad's office party. She told dad and either he didn't believe her or didn't care (and said that he didn't believe her.) The story idea was later altered either because rape content whether in the story or in a backstory hurts a games ability to make money, or because there is already a story called The Cabin with a mom that was the victim of rape, or because the rape backstories have been overused and are no longer in vogue. The developer probably made the wise choice to alter mom's story but did not want to change the entire work that had been previously released. The story as written might cause some to feel that mom's justification for her actions is not sufficient but the current back story will not drive patrons away as something more severe probably would have. If I am right, I personally think the developer made a smart choice.

I didn't miss any of that, but what you have mentioned isn't necessarily supernatural. That's a common thriller / horror trope: to make the enemy (serial killer, psychotic, etc.) seem more powerful than they really are. I don't think that's supernatural, and without something like seeing actual ghosts or mystical entities or something, I don't think the supernatural tag should be on this game.

The rule on F95 is that unless something is for certain in a game, you don't tag it. For example, many games allow you to give a vaginal creampie, but unless a character says she's pregnant, you see the round baby belly, etc., the pregnancy tag doesn't get added. So unless we know for certain there's something supernatural going on (and we don't know anything for certain), the tag should not be included.

Anyway, so some people didn't like the interaction between Grace and the MC. Mainly the part where Grace is spilling her heart out to the mc and explaining why she has been drinking so much.

Basically people are not happy that the mc forgave her so easily. As I've said the game is a romance game!

Her behavior lowered my opinion of her, reproductive coercion is a dick move. It is your game though, so I'll just have to choose any choices that keep her distant because I'd choose any option that would close any possible MC/Grace routes without second thought.

As I said from day 1, The Cabin is 100% a romance game. There will be no corruption and very little domination ( limited to 1-2 characters, I know 1 for sure that's gonna be into it. ).

Please not forced Grace, please not forced Grace. But yeah, it's your game to do with as you please, all I can do is hope for the story to head in a direction I can enjoy.
