Literally the only character with a cheat to simply skip him and one that I never play without. I suppose that tepid content is still better than shit content that is still way too big a part of the game, because fucking lol, of course THAT is where Westane put the effort in.

It's almost like a whole other part of the update was the priority and the Cheat revamp was a bonus. In fact, it took Westane a week to add the new Cheat Menu and that went live about 2 weeks ago in a Dev Build.
But you're either incredibly misinformed or a insighting a response. Most of your questions are answered IN this forum. Hell, Penny is up next in terms of Roadmap but again I don't think you're looking to be informed and more looking to instigate something.

there is a few pics/vids that are missing or broken in the dreams (not sure if they were old or new) i even did a fresh install and they are still broke or missing

Westane put out a bug fix yesterday. Might be what you need so if you're a Patron, check the page. If not, Public will have it included and that releases next Thursday.
Or someone shares the files. Either or

Ah yes, revamping the dream system, which is mostly skipped through and is the definition of bloat: that's definitely a better look.
On one hand, a game this old is usually abandoned, on the other hand, games not even half this age usually has double the content so it all evens out I suppose.
I vaguely remembered there being a roadmap that struck me as feasible for a single dev, if sad, but again, this game is just, bizarre, in so many ways, with its badly working "endings", bizarre one offs (our good friend the living dildo being just, bizarre, as the only way for a player to get both systems but also exclusive for the mom) and a whole host of other odd stuff.
I have two things to say about this:
1. Unless you're the switchiest switch who ever did switch, you likely haven't SEEN half of this game's content. A lot of expansive serum paths only appeal to a particular set of interests.
2. I've been watching this game for years, since before you could even dose Sophie and you could outright rape your family. Virtually every update has been solid, even if it didn't appeal to me. This game has suffered some real setbacks in the form of multiple system revamps. The corpses of some of these old systems still dot the game here and there. But that's just kinda the price you pay when you try something experimental.

The individual characters portions are being updated at this point. So a play though from the beginning to follow those paths is probably the best way to go with these updates. It will be a long time before we get to the next chapter.

Focus is/has been on filling out character paths (Tasha, Diana) and revising systems (the pit, affection/corruption, dream sequences) rather than continuing the main story line. I don't remember the road map off-hand, but I'd wager it'll be a while yet before we get back to main story events.
So the update is mainly dream events and changing the cheat menu.
Personally I don't understand the point in adding dream events in this type of game, yet they all do it. We are playing a game where the author can write anything into the story, and for some reason they all keep wanting to write events that are not actually happening in the story but instead happening in the imagination of our PC.

i don't know if i'm the only one who gets in the way of the game, but i wish the game could have a step-by-step process so that the player could get to the goal in order to advance in the game and not just run around, without having anything to do in the game.

Story is on haitus until 2025 because you can't end a game that has unfinished... Everything. Better people complain about the lack of story updates rather than people complaining about the lack of characters with actual storylines ready to be ended.
You can't. You get one per playthrough so you have to choose wisely.
It's mainly because the Story Mode is over the course of 100+ days so having scenes that play in between those days are extra content. It's not locked away based on Serum Doses or Chapter process. You're guaranteed to see some erotic stuff no matter where the characters are at. Plus it having Affection and Corruption variants, it promotes even further into the replayability. Plus it leans into the Supernatural theme and how you gaze at these characters from an outside lens.
Do you mean in Story Mode? Not sure what step by step process you require outside of a Guide but simpling passing the days and moving the Months forward unlocks everything you'll ever need. Unless you mean something else.

yes, in story mode, as english is not my native language I sometimes make a lot of mistakes in the text even using the deepl app

Ah, gotcha. Well not much is going to be added in terms of that probably ever. Westane wants you to find your way, make mistakes, and see what you personally get. Then you use that information to replay the game and have smoother and smoother times until you basically know most of the mechanics by heart.
It's intentional. Feel free to go in blind and feel everything out how you personally would. You can't see all the content in one playthrough anyways so just explore.
