1- The hotsprings are in a cave north of the farmer's house.
2- He goes to that poor painter guy's house, which is south of boo's house.

He is not forcing anyone to pay him. If he is getting almost 3k per month that is because there are people who thinks its worth investing in him. Honestly speaking i would like a game which is polished and thoroughly made taking time instead of a rushed one. Well that is my personal opinion.
