All of the nonsense happening on Patreon is entirely Patreon's fault for caving to Paypal's demands. Paypal doesn't want to be associated with porn due to "reasons". Patreon had the option of becoming its own payment processor or finding a different one, instead they've become a bunch of SJWs. First Patreon deleted everything related to incest because of being viewed as "immoral" (all of the content they deleted was fictional, thus actually being censorship but nobody cares cause THINK OF THE CHILDREN). Now Patreon requires content creators to lock all adult content behind mandatory membership. Those that do not accept Patreon's terms will have their account deleted.

EDIT: my prediction was spot on! game is set to be released October.
this makes it 9 months after the last release. not counting the failed attempt at porting the game to game maker engine.

You are being silly. He released updates consistently, it mostly got rough when he switched engine and then had to switch engine again because his coder abandoned him, meaning he had to put 0.4 back into VX AND make 0.5 on top of that.

Releasing random discarded sketches on discord might qualify as a game "update" for you, but I personally just want actual updates to the game right now. And btw, it's been another 2 weeks and we're still waiting.

I feel like I'm just being a hater in this thread, but it's not really that. I'm just honestly a fan of this game, as well as a past patreon. But when the last 8 or so months have been one excuse after another, news of you guys playtesting isn't worth much. sorry bud. i really do want to see this game get finished, but all I see at the moment is a patreon account that still gets over $2,000 a month for a game that hasn't been updated since January. There is almost literally a new issue every single week to blame on the stalled progress. and even once you guys get the update out, it's still only a .5 update. if we get +.1 per year, this game should hit release by 2023 or so.

...you know, unless there are unforeseen delays.

Probably very little since he spent half a year porting it to different engine.

Your last five posts in this thread have literally been "boo no updates bad developer blablabla". We get it. You're allowed to share your opinion, positive and negative, and you've done so. You don't need to make a comment here every single day announcing just how bad you think this dev is when it comes to his release schedule.

On his discord it sounds like it will add a good bit by what I've gathered from reading the playtesters but that is subjective to their view of a good amount

well, i do not expect a full game but if it's only 2~3 scenes with variables it will be disappointing

When he still makes over $2,000 a month for 9 months without an update, and is still picking up new patrons, I disagree. Someone needs to do it. Someone needs to stop stroking these people off and handing them money in exchange for excuses. You also must have missed the part where I WAS a patreon of Rannero. I've supported them in the past. But the excuses never stop. And once .5 comes out, then what? It's a joke. They need to stop wasting time of writing excuse posts and actually start pushing out content. Then I'll shut up, no problem. I want to play their game, but since I can't, I'll help spread the word on why they shouldn't be paid in the meantime.
